wondering if anyone cares to comment on a twin flame synastry chart... particularly where my venus lines up with her chiron? hmm... i just noticed that tonight. i have so many questions about why we just can't do it in this life... and if we are even supposed to try? is there anything obvious in our chart that indicates what is getting in our way? besides the usual fears, that is. any clear picture about karma? seems we probably both ******* each other royally many times over in the past. ????
any feedback anyone could give would be super helpful and much appreciated. i also hope it's interesting to whoever reads it. we were/are quite a doozy.

Sita,

In my opinion, we need to look at how to get along in THIS life and with THIS person. Looking for past lives, karma, twin flames, etc. is just another way of focusing on what we DID rather than on what we need to DO. Having gotten THAT opinion out of the way ;) I am going to focus on this as a basic chart comparison and identify the issues as I see them.

In doing relationship charts, the first step is to understand how each person approaches relationships. This can be seen by looking at Libra, Venus, and the 7th house (all are about relationships) in each chart. In your chart, you have Venus opposite (energy is over-excited by) Uranus (friends, also rebellion), indicating that you tend to "rebel" against relationships and want to be more a "friend" than in a relationship. However, you have Saturn (duty, also structure) focused in your 7th house , so you DO want SOME sort of structure to your relationships. Already we see a conflict between wanting to be "friends" and wanting to be in a relationship. This conflict is continued since you have Libra modifying North node (future goals), indicating that relationships of some type have to do with your goals in life. There is a challenge here, in that if you do not own your energy for freedom in a relationship, this energy could be used against you (if we do not own our own energy, others will "own" it for us! ;) ). You also have Libra modifying Pluto (transformation, also power), indicating that relationships can be a source of power.

Your friend also has Libra modifying Pluto. She also has Venus focused in the 7th house, indicating a STRONG focus on relationships.

The next thing to look at is the relationship chart (your chart is in the middle and his is on the outside). The first thing to look for in relationship charts is any connections between the Sun and Moon by themselves. You have many Sun-Moon connections, indicating a STRONG connection to each other. The next thing to look for are the aspects made between Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars (also called "personal" planets). What "jumps out" in this comparison is there are NO Venus connections between you. This indicates there is no "love connection" between your personal energies. Looking at the Nodes, your planetary conjuncts her North node (future goals), indicating that you can help her accomplish her future goals in life. However, her planetary energy conjuncts your SOUTH node (the past), indicating she may hold you back from your goals.

There is some strong connection between you, but it is not about a "love connection". Since she may actually hold you back in your life you might want to start looking for someone else, especially since you two are "quite a doozy" together! ;)

Relating,

Tim

Tim,
Thank You for taking the time to read into our synastry. Your point about owning my freedom energies was especially well received. I have yet to figure this one out, as I have so far done poorly to incorporate the kind of freedom i want into my relationships, and usually end up bailing before a year, utterly overwhelmed at the incredible sense of restriction i feel. But yet, I love relationships for the security, and for the opportunities for transformation that they provide... and this is why i continue to get involved.

Thanks, also, for the pointer on the nodes, as this was something i had never heard to examine before.

be well,
Sita
