Hey everyone...
First I want to say that I hope it doesn't look like I am trying to show off (i have a tendincy to do that)... but I am really interested in this point in my chart now. I was messing around with different chart types at astro.com and found that my Natal vertex, aka "Destiny's Gate" forms this crazy double kite grand trine thing pointing into the 7th house. (within 1-4 degrees orb) I did some reasearch and found it to be very controversial, and there is little info on it in a natal chart . I found one site that said that a strong natal vertex (conjuct personal planet or in a critical degree) can mean that things can happen in your life you have no control over during transits or progressions. Well maybe it has little importance, many astrologers ignore it, but thats also where my earth was. Earth is 180 degrees from the sun right? And the anti-vertex conjuncts my sun/mercury.
So... my question is what the heck does a vertex in natal charts mean in relation to it's aspects? And how important have any of you found it?
Also... this could be a whole new thread, but i wonder if astrologers overlook the earth too much (possibly ruling taurus).
here's my chart: http://www.astro.com/cgi/chart.cgi?cid=ix6file8jpRMe-u1163876440&lang=e&gm=a1&nhor=432232&nho2=432232&btyp=2&mth=gw&sday=&smon=2&syr=&hsy=0&zod=&orbp=&rs=0&add=18&add=19&add=22&add=14&node=-Yn&pfday=-YP+1&asp=1&fix=1&ast=
