I want to start a discussion on the viability of statistical approaches to horoscope creation. The idea is simple but perhaps turns the approach to basic horoscopes on its head. Without necessarily looking at the positions of the planets to determine a horoscope, look at all the people of a given sign and ask them how their day has been or is going. People in the world can be a useful barometer for what is actually going on in the lives of people of a given sign.
For example you want to know how a Virgo's day will go. Why not ask all the Virgos you can find how their day is going, and how they think it will go? In addition, the key would be to have other Virgos democratically vote on what they think is the most accurate.
An example of this kind of approach is at this free site: youroscopes (http://youroscopes.com)
So what do you think? Could this kind of approach be viable?
