Hi,

I have been trying to figure out what impact an upcoming pluto transit to my natal pluto will have. my chart is below (details are born 25/6/1972 in Gainsborough, England 0w46 53n24 at 7.35pm BST)

http://www.astro.com/tmpd/achart_m5zfile4BxBXZ-u1143395080.38723.10254.gif (http://www.astro.com/cgi/showgif.cgi?lang=e&gif=achart_m5zfile4BxBXZ-u1143395080.38723.10254.gif&res=100&va=)

I am worried because i have read very negative things about this transit. and as you can see in my chart, my natal pluto contacts alot of my other planets!

I am especially worried because pluto is currently transiting my first house (and i have had years of problems when it was conjunct my ascendant and moon!) and it will make a square aspect to my natal pluto in the 9th. I currently work in a university and my contract will end this coming september.

It is because my natal pluto contacts so many other planets that i am having difficulty in working out what might be affected, or in what areas of my life most of the impact will be felt.

Does anybody have any ideas on this please?

many thanks

Hi
I'm exactly 13 yrs your junior (25 june 85)

Pluto...
He rules house 11 & 12 and goes through house 1 for the moment... So I think transformation and intensity (Pluto key words) will happen in areas, who are related to house 11, 12 & 1 (friends, ideals; spirituality; yourself)
Except the exact Pluto Pluto square he's going to make for the moment, he's going to lay low for a year of 2, but then he will conjunct your natal Jupiter and oppose your natal Sun...
I guess when he was on your natal Venus/ Moon opposition, you expressed some changes in how you express your feminity...

I'm currently undergoing a Pluto square to my nMoon (28° Virgo) and then he will be on my nNeptune (2° Cap) nSun (4° Cancer) opposition... I think it's exciting...

Take Care

Hi Belgianmoonguy,

thanks for your reply, i hadn't even thought about considering the 11th/12th house implications.

as for pluto conjunct moon opposite venus and the expression of my femininity, Yes you are correct in a sense.

the conjunction coincided with my starting my phd, and this had a rather puzzling affect on my friendships and intimate relationship at the time. My then partner seemed to have a problem with this, and got very competitive, basically i think he felt a bit threatened by it. What i do for a living has been a recurring problem ever since, particularly when i meet men. So issues of femininity have certainly cropped up in some unusual ways.

May be men are holding you back in fulfilling your life path
Why do I say that
Mars conjunct Mercury (ruler 7th house) conjunct South Node...

It's your goal to have some sort of financial independence (NN in 2) and to act mature, responsible (Capricorn)... suffocating emotional ties can be a no no in this life (south node in Cancer in 8)

Many thanks Belgianmoonguy,

you have helped to shed light on a recurring pattern which has been puzzling me for years! The problem now is, how do i break this pattern? Do i simply avoid emotional attachments (or is that too drastic?) or perhaps just keep everything casual? its just that keeping things casual is at odds with my cancerian nature and sun & saturn in 7th house.

You must find a way how to cope with it yourself...
You're a Cancer with a 5 destiny number...
The 5 destiny number is very fitting with your Venus in Gemini
You don't want to be tied down...

With Mars in Cancer, may be you attract men who want to raise a family and can't understand that their woman needs to have a life outside the family, children, him
They may be can't understand that you want to express yourself intellectually by a study or professionaly by a profession

Avoiding emotional attachtments
No dear, don't go there
But be careful... Seek someone who can understand your need to express yourself in many life areas, not only familial, relational, but also intellectual, and professional...
If you meet a guy who's willing to have you like that... then put the light on green

I hope i make sense :o

the number 5 thing is interesting since this is the number i get from my real name if i do the numerology thing, so perhaps i should have a look into that a bit more.

re the mars in cancer. interestingly i tend to meet men who do not want children, but who expect me to mother them so i think that fits with what you are saying there.

actually i was just looking through the pluto thread, (i didn't notice it before i posted here) and i can certainly identify with alot of the transformations and events that others have spoken about. I guess i should take a more positive view of the pluto square and approach it as a challenge and a positive opportunity. Saturn is currently trine my moon perhaps that explains my current dose of pessimism!

this is excellent belgianmoonguy, i have learnt alot. thankyou very much.

Thankyou fullmoondawn,

it is interesting to read about your experiences of the transit. I can certainly identify with your 3rd point about being withdrawn. That is exactly how i feel at the moment, and i have had some very out of character paranoid thoughts that people at work are trying to oppose what i want to do and become. so it is a bit of a confusing time. But then this is the cause of my anxiety really, i am just really worried about the impact on my working relationships and my job prospects in the long run. hopefully everything will work out for the best.

best wishes and many thanks
