The Sun symbolizes YOU as an individual spiritual being, incarnate in a physical body. Your will,purposes and vitality.It represents the experiences you want to have as a soul, your purposes and what you can contribute, based on your own being, attributes, virtues, understanding, skills and mastery. Physically the Sun is your vitality, your aliveness, your vital lifeforce.

As the Sun transits around our natal charts it "lights up" the houses in succession,highlighting windows of opportunity to cultivate soul experience in that area of life. This led to 12H, focusing on spirituality,consciousness,intuition,karmic patterns and completion,service.

Now as the Sun enters my first House I will focus on self and personal identity,helping others with their image and identity,self-expression and promotion.

See where the Sun is in your chart right now and focus all your being,understanding,skills and vitality on the affairs of that house and follow the Sun's path around your chart, you can make good things happen.

Hi Waterbearer, Blessing to you too.

Today is my solar return! 8) in the 8th house. Funny conjunctions going on too. It's also a Venus Return day, and:

Mercury conjunct Moon in the 8th
Moon conjunct Jupiter in the 7th
Moon conjunct Uranus in the 7th

among other things
Moon square Mercury in the 9th (and tr Mercury entering 9th)
moon sextile sun

so back to topic, solar return in the 8th, death and regeneration, new beginnings?

I found your birth data on an old post and looking at the chart it shows you with Sun in 9thH not the 8th.

9/27/54 14:50 Columbus,Ohio is correct?

I was tired last night, difference is I use equal house and that changes position of Sun/Moon/Pluto,I,ll go with that for now.

Hey Waterbearer and all, so yes, birthday was 9/27, yesterday. I use Placidus, so that does change things. It's pretty public what I've been going through so ... What I see coming for the eclipse now (gotta remember to post that so everybody knows HEY, THERE'S A MAJOR ECLIPSE IN A COUPLE OF DAYS) and for the eclipse sun/moon reverse on me, and it probably matters if in 8 or 9 house a lot I think. So, thanks, very much for your input.

house Sun/Moon. I'll assume since you use Placidus it's the former.
