The purpose of modern psychology is control. Governments use it. Corporations use it. Control the customers; control the employees. I work for a large company and am hammered by this atrocious rubbish all the time. When the Italians took over I actually had to go to pycho-propaganda classes for a time.

Last I heard American universities graduate more psychology majors than any other subject. And then some of them take up astrology and write books that appear to be just about more manipulation and control. Some of these post modern astrology books I bought (and wish I had my money back) seem to be just trying explain how to control the client rather than doing any real astrology.

Its interesting to be made aware of it though, as alot of people do sleepwalk and buy into all this rubbish that they constantly feed to us. It seems to me that we are controlling each others thoughts more or less. I can only speak for my own experiences. We think that all thoughts that come into our mind are our own, but maybe they are not? But there is a difference between psychological mind control and the more "paranormal" telepathic mind control. It depends on what you believe in...

Humans, like many other animals, live in groups. And there is some kind of "group consciousness", think its quite scary. Its hard for us to stand out and go our own way, and we are easily pressured by the group into doing things we dont want to do. Peer pressure... Trust in authority, there was some experiment with electric shock and a teacher and student, people doing cruel things against their will.

Like if a person is killed on the street in the middle of the day with many witnesses, it is likely that nobody else will do anything than if you were few people there when it happened. Group psychology just makes me think about the animals we really are:sick:

Its easy to say that the torture in the middle east revolution is just silly and would never happen where you live.... You never know with humans really!
