Why am I so creative?

Venus in 10th is a classic traditional "career (10th) in the arts/beauty (venus)" placement. Helped by that lovely square to Jupiter.

Virgo ascendant with Mars conjunct - design and illustration require a lot of discipline in order to really excel. Putting in the work pays massive dividends for you in particular I would say. You can have 'natural talent' but without the drive (Mars) and being willing to put in 'the work' (Virgo) the artist will remain a relatively unskilled (albeit talented) amateur at best. Watch your peers who rely on their 'natural abilities' fall to the wayside when you harness this part of yourself.

My ex is a very talented illustrator and he has Venus in the 10th square Jupiter like you, and he is also a Virgo ascendant.

And in first house...
Jupiters expansion shows itself in your creativeness. And the fact that it's singleton focusess all the energy of the chart to there. Having it in first house is even better, because it affects your personality.

I also believe that the second and the seventh should be checked out, because these are the houses of taurus and libra, the two venusian signs.

The title of this thread caught my eye. You and I both have all mutable angels, except I have Pisces Asc. with a Virgo DC. I also have Jupiter in the 1st house (but in Pisces). On top of that, I'm also a graphic designer (freelance). Not kidding. I can't stand not being involved on some creative project. My Venus conjuncts my Jupiter, right on the ascendant line, though, not in the 10th like yours. Sag. rules my MC, and Jupiter squares my MC. So, even though there are plenty of differences by sign placement, it's interesting how some of our similarities match professionally.
