Hi Venus,
I have found that manuscript quite informative myself since I had questions about progressions and planetary transits that did not get answered elsewhere. I wrote a letter to her asking ( or verifing) behavior triggers that can occur when Neptune is transiting the natal Sun and she gave me a very informative reply. Quite tragic things can occur sadly. It is a helpful book. Very blessed and glad that Neptune will never conjunct my natal Sun unless I live to be a 115+ years old ( early to mid 2080's at my Sun degree position) ....not likely to say the least LOL. Its bad enough that it is in near direct opposition now. Squaring my Sun in 35 years is not a favorable thing either. I have plenty of time to prepare I suppose.
Take care
Franklin

Hi Venus....have to agree with you re Identifying Planetary Triggers...great book. I also have her Predicting Events With Astrology, another good book. I go back to them time and time again, never tiring of them.
They were difficult to come by, had to get them from the States, but well worth the effort.
I also have her latest Eclipses, this time available in UK, but was a bit disappointed, it's more of a cookbook style.
As Franklin says she is very accessible, always replies with help.
By the way Franklin, I'm also intrigued about Neptune transiting natal Sun, would like to hear more.
I think it was Charles Carter that stated Jupiter and Neptune nearly always prominent in death or charts of traumatic nature.
So come on Franklin, spill the beans!

Hello,
Neptune has a dissolving effect upon the Sun. Makes for a period of vagueness and confusion in life. If you have used alcohol or drugs and the like in the past they may take center stage once again. My former spouse's natal Sun and transiting Neptune crossed this past year. According to Mrs. Teal the effective orb is up to 4 degrees effective especially as the conjunction is increasing in closeness. My former spouse had no inclination to drink again for almost 14 years that I knew her, but became an active raging alcoholic in 2003 so the time table works pretty well. Loss of self in the fog of Neptune is a big point. Celeste puts it as the Sun's (self) Ego is "dissolved" by Neptune. The effect causes desires for escape from the self and the reality that lies therein.
Take care
Franklin

You know Franklin, it's a coincidence that this topic should arise, (although I'm a firm believer that coincidence doesn't exist!)
I have a friend who has had a drink problem in the past, but hasn't felt the urge to drink for years.
All of a sudden within last couple of weeks this urge to drink has re-appeared. I was actually thinking of digging out her chart and looking for anything Pisces or Neptune related.
I'll get back to you...new post maybe best...going off topic here.
A big thankyou Franklin....

Hi VENUS,
My Sun is in the seventh ( Not the best place for it). My chart is on the Natal Chart thread Arian Maverick assembled on the forum.

Ruby 2 your welcome and tell us what you find with your friend. (your time to "spill the beans") LOL
