Trying to figure out if I should seclude myself on Dec 10. I am, like a lot of people, going through a perplexing time. Separated from my spouse physically on September (21 st) which was my choice . . . we keep in contact but his drinking usually stops me from wanting to have too much contact. We have little to no communication about what is happening with us . .. we have grown children and a home, which I am living in, that we have in common . . so we usually talk about those things. When it comes to serious stuff, that I usually try to bring up to talk about, we come to a brick wall.

December's Lunar eclipse is opposition to my natal Moon in Sag (17 deg 59 sec) and within 2 degrees opposition of my husband's natal Moon in Sag (16 deg). We both have 9th house Moons. We've been married for 40 years but I have not been happy for about 30.

Any insight would be helpful.

I know that a lunar eclipse in hard aspect to moon can mean letting go of a relationship. It may just bring you both some closure in the matter...may also signify something important with the home...are you trying to remortgage or divide it up?

Lunar eclipse activating chart placements can mean saying goodbye or letting go of something, solar eclipse aspecting chart can be ushering in the new...take a look at how the entire gem/sag eclipse cycle will sit in your chart. Also, what house does the moon rule in your natal?

Selling the home has come up in discussion. Right now we agreed, or rather I planned, we would separate for a year and at the end of that time decide what is best for both of us. He is living with my brother and seems quite content.

The moon rules my 4th house. The solar eclipse of Nov 24 squared my Sun which is 1 degree 1 sec of Virgo. Is there another gem/sag eclipse segment I should be looking at?

In July, just before the full moon, it was decided he would live with my brother . . . move in date was set for September. July's full moon fell in my 4th (sun) and 10th (moon) houses. . . I guess another sign of separation that I didn't see at the time.

Thank you for your insight.

Yeah, seeing as how your moon rules I.C. it "looks" as if (note the lack of confidence here ) home matters will come to the fore. For instance, a friend of mine experienced a lunar eclipse aspecting her chart very similarly, and she had a horrible situation with bed bugs at that time...she had to move out of her house for weeks while it was resolved. Since you are already in a situation regarding your home, I would assume that it may come to a head or resolution around this time. Good luck, and tell us how it goes!

About the eclipse cycle...there are many months to come of these gem/sag eclipses. Just google 2012 eclipses and you will see what degree they are at. My gut says you two will hash out what you want in the next month (often eclipse events come to pass within a month of the eclipse) in regards to the house, and this continuing sequence of eclipses will take you down that road...

I have read that if you receive bad news one week either side of lunar eclipse, there is nothing you can do about it, i.e. it is a done deal. Personally I really don't believe this, but I do think a level of detachment and surrender is called for around this time. If something seems to leave your life, don't cling to it, just wait and see until eclipse time has passed (1 month).

Thank you, twelthnight, for your insights . . . they are very helpful. I am having mixed emotions concerning the home . . . wanting to stay yet wanting to move on at the same time. I will google the 2012 eclipses and see where they land in my chart.

Again, thank you, for helping me prepare myself for this lunar eclipse . . .calming myself emotionally is something I have to work on
and I will definitely update on events that transpire on, during or after this eclipse.

No problem...the eclipse energy on your moon is very powerful, so don't become discouraged if there is a sudden change in what your ex seems to want. These situations are so tricky and there are bound to be flare ups as you move forward. Like you said, remain calm, don't react in the heat of the moment.
