Please help quickly!

Ok.. so I have some friends you are being really annoying about my obession with astrology.

They claim its horribly false, there's not basis for it.. and they're really mean about it too, calling me stupid, an idiot, etc etc...

So, I decided that maybe.. if I can accurately predict something, maybe they'll finally shut up?

Anyway, in a few days, Venus enters Aquarius. My friend Helen's natal Venus is at 0 degrees Aquarius, on the cusp of her 1st and 2nd house. What do you think would be an accurate prediction? Should I look at progressed chart too?

I fear this is a dangerous trap you are getting yourself into, attempting to prove the validity of astrology to those who are unwilling to listen no less believe. Western astrology does not specialize in prediction, but rather, indicates certain energies that may manifest in an individual's life in a multitude of ways. This is my opinion only, but astrology is not a parlor game, and treating it as such may invite awe but not necessarily respect. If you successfully predict an event for your friends, they will ask you to make more predictions, and when one inevitably does not come to pass, you will be in the same position as you started in.

With this warning issued, I will point out a few transits you may wish to explore:


Transiting Mars conjunct natal Sun
Transiting Mercury conjunct natal Neptune
Transiting Sun conjunct natal Saturn
Transiting Venus conjunct natal Venus (Venus return)
Transiting Neptune conjunct natal North Node

Eh... you're probably right.

But it's too late anyway. She just told me that she's taking a break from her job for a few months! She just decided that TODAY. Honestly, I probably wouldn't have predicted she'd quit her job because this occurs in her 2nd house.. Oh well, I tried. I'll get it next time.

Although... her natal Venus is trining her natal midheaven... but, I still don't see a clear relationship... with transit or the progressed.

I don't see the chart but AM mentioned several other transiting aspects. A deception or mistake (Neptune) of some kind; a question (Mercury) referring to trust and advancement(Sagittarius) by a person in authority (Saturn), and which your friend(Sun) did not take kindly to that led to her sudden action through Venus in a display of uncontrolled (Sagittarius) anger (Mars conjunct Sun in a FIRE..(D) sign?).

Neptune to NN? Ask her what this action-taking means to her and you'll get an idea of what this symbolism can infer.
As I had to learn myself, astrology is about listening to what others tell you they are exeriencing, and not so much what you think they should be going through;).

I can sympathize with your problem...
Cause i have the same... My friends also tell me to be silent of it, most of the time...
But i just can't help it from time to time...
I just tell them what i think/ feel about them, astro and non astro... They just have to work on the information i give them and see for themselves if it's accurate or not...
I also tell them they should look objectively to what i say when i tell some astro stuff to them...

Looks like a lot of us have the same problem. I have no one to talk to about astrology or any of my interests, except my one friend/co worker, she is a believer and listens (god bless her!) but she's not into it if ya know what I mean. Alot of people look in the paper and read their horoscope only to find it inaccurate because it's soooo vague, they don't understand astrology and how it works. I'm so greatful for this forum and it's members, by far the nicest, non dramatic, helpful, active one out there. Thanks to everyone!

I don't like to say I know astrology or that i'm interested in paranormal, I stay silent, so I can learn peacefully, I done this mistake myself to say to much, but I learned my lesson.:(

If others don't believe you and makes you appear stupid, while themself's acting stupid, don't play their games, just be smart, cause the stupid will always like to lower you to thier level to beat you whit thier experience.

You can only feel stupid if you do allow people to make you feel that way...
I believe in open discussion and if people tell me they take astrology for ****, I respect that. Everyone is entitled to his/ her own opinion...

Hm.. I actually just wish that I could be accurate with predictions and stuff. I'm not too sure about it yet... Solar Returns, Progressions, Secondary Progressions?

I don't even want to go NEAR Harmonics.

Oh well... I'm only 17... someday I'll find the time to really work with this stuff.
