transiting jupiter meets natal uranus

hello,
so im looking at my transits and looking how transiting jup. conjuncts natal uranus (yesterday)....so this is a good time to play lotto right? my financial situation/job situation is soooo bad right now!!!! does trans sat in my 10th house have anything to do with that?

I have just had the same transit, and my natal Uranus is strongly aspected by personal natal planets. It completed in mid December for me, and I am still wondering what "influence" of Jupiter conjunt Uranus I can separate out and identify. I assume that you have read the astrodienst description for this transit?


Jupiter conjunction Uranus: A sudden windfall

You have the chart of a gambler! In the chart shown transiting jupiter is not only conjunct Uranus it is also exactly square[to the minute] mars on the cusp of the 5th house of gambling,stimulating the desire[mars] to gamble and mars in the 5th loves to gamble. Jupiter is also the ruler of the 5th and placed in the 2nd of resources which does suggest money from gambling or of course money lost through gambling as mars square jupiter has a reputation for reckless gambling,it certainly loves taking risks.

Just dug out a quote from the famous British astrologer Charles Carter 'great good fortune at speculation....is nearly always due to a strong Uranus in aspect to the 5th' which you have.

Apologies if i have been stating the obvious,the theme of gambling leapt out when i looked at your chart and saw the transit of jupiter to the gamblers signature of jupiter conjunct Uranus square mars,perhaps a flutter on the lotto would be worthwhile,if only to see if Jupiter is feeling generous!.

Just realised 'a flutter' may not be known outside the UK ,it means a small bet.

howl- yeah my astrology program's intrepertation was very similar. I just know that jup/uranus means some kind of "releif" or "tension release." but i am still freaking out about my financial situations.
Shining Ray- yeah that does make sense because lately alot of my friends have made me some offers to make some money with them, but nothing really seems to be following through!! also, i have been attracting some influential people.
alkes- hahahaha your funny! yeah when i start gambling, i kind of cant stop. :) i was kind of excited that maybe ill win some lotto this week or something! or find some kind of unexpected job!!!! but no luck with either....oh well, maybe something unexpected can pop up!!
b.t.w. one of my astro books says mars in the 5th house usually has bad luck with gambling....i never really had good luck but when i win i usually win!
plus, you know what they say: "if your lucky in gambling, you lose in love..."

I would watch that spending! Uranus in the s 2nd can gain and loose money quickly, and jup in sagg is more than happy to spend spend spend.

virgo- yes you are completely right. i am already the worst spender, ive never been able to save ANY money even when i had a job. i would almost say i am a compulsive spender ( i cant help it lol) (mars in 5th?) libra rising? i think its both, but anyways, my financial situation is very unstable right now (its always unstable lol.) and yes, i think it is uranus in 2nd.
