Hey pixiequix! I have this aspect in my natal chart as well, but in Capricorn in the 12th house. :) It makes life very...shall, we say, interesting! ;) It makes my moods rather fickle though. I can be overly happy and excited one moment and rather depressed the next. Here are some sites:

I'm not sure if I felt or sense anything about this conjunction beforehand...I'm a "block head" when it comes to sensing things though. It seems my intuition is permanently impaired

Some of the characteristics you may have because of this conjunction are that you have original, brilliant, and intuitive ideas. You have a need to feel different and unconventional.

Moon conjunct Uranus means that this Christmas is likely to be eventful. This is a time where the demands made upon you will rise to an extreme tension. In this period, new and sometimes unexpected developments will occur.

Hope that helped! - May8mike

This aspect excites mutual interest and is intellectually stimulating.
Sometimes the unpredictability of Uranus proves irritating to Moon,
especially if Moon likes order and system. Between persons of the
opposite sex, this aspect can indicate a spontaneous and magnetic attraction and sometimes an unconventional one. It arouses romantic feelings, but unless there are many aspects to bind the two of you, you may be changeable or fickle toward each other. This aspect has the suggestion of infatuation or fascination that will be temporary, but if the association can become permanent, this aspect stimulates a
continuing romantic appeal. In friendships this association is apt to
be spasmodic or sporadic. Attachments may not be lasting unless other
aspects indicate it. Uranus's qualities can upset Moon's emotional poise if Moon is extremely sensitive.

I have Moon opposition Uranus, and most of what is written here sounds about right for me too :)

I also have this aspect. It is the tightest aspect in my chart and it is in about 7 degrees capricorn. This conjunction is also sitting on my ascendant (not as tight though, about 6 degrees orb). I'm am extremely moody, but tend more towards the gloomier, I think because of the capricorn and Uranus ain't happy in that stodgy sign. But that could also be because I'm 16. Anyway, I have saturn in the same sign of Uranus, but they're too far away to be in conjunction, so I guess, maybe that means I would try to bottle up Uranus? But, one cannot stopper the Unstoppable Changer.

Sounds an awful lot like me, too. Most everyone thinks I'm really strange, mostly because of my "waaayyyy out of the box" ideas, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't have any aspects between Moon and Uranus. But I DO have Moon in Aquarius - wondered if this is why it seems to fit me, too.

I can see that point. My work is humanitarian in nature. Can't tell you about the actual children part yet, other than that I have been assured that I will be a mother :) I am perhaps a bit more 'cautiously considered' about it than most women, and have logially thought out whether I will make a good mother, and how I can make sure of that, where as many don't feel the need to question this as much as I do. My Uranus is in the fifth house of children (opposing moon in the eleventh house), so perhaps I am the ideal candidate for mothering humanity :p. I am quite warm on the idea of adoption, as well. Will keep you posted. You may need to wait a while

I have Uranus in the 4th, so similar. I have an unconventional home life in that I have never married nor had children. I studied astrology and taught it at home. I get easily irritated by family members but also have an afflicted moon. I grew up in a house with unusual architecture and also had Aquarian people in my family. My Uranus is well aspected and I am seen as "out there" but in a harmless way. I also inherited my calve and ankle structure from my mother. I have moved house often and really have a strong gypsy aspect.

I think that Moon aspecting Uranus give erratic moods and if well aspected brilliant flashes of insight. Depending on the aspects and the sign and house of course. It is an exciting combination and never dull I would say. You may adopt a child, have one out of wedlock, have many upheavals in home and family life. Can be sudden and unexpected pregnancies.

Mother figures can be seen as erratic, unconventional, unstable and/or brilliant, restless and unpredictable.
