I wonder what's causing all these beauty queen scandals astrologically?

This is the chart that relates to the reporting of Ms Nevada's dethroning. Based on what I can find, it appears that TMZ reported it first and I'm assuming they are reporting from NY. If it is in LA, the asc stays at 1 deg and if in Virginia (which is where one of TMZ's parent co. AOL is), then it goes back to a late degree Virg rising.

I suppose it has to relate to mars (ruler of the 8th house) conj jup squ aqu - expansive sex issue with shock value to it. Also see how neptune is opposed to a detrimented yet leo glamourous saturn widely. I know nep is a higher octave of venus associated with beauty pagents. But notice the very minimal aspecting to venus, only uranus - somehow positively heightening the attention this arena is getting.

Whether the asc is lib or vir, both are approp here. Vir is analysis, Libra is ruled by venus, one of the signs associated with beauty. If vir is asc, then it might be likley that Gem is MC - gossip. Interesting how most of the planets also fall in the 3rd, expansive gossip or communication. Well whatever it is, its bad for Ms Nevada, the NN in 6th is opposed mercury, which could be chart ruler and widely conj uranus or does it represent TMZ's job of gossip. Also chiron in 5th semi-squ mercury - love of gossip maybe causing harm.

The gossip is firstly reported by TMZ according to wikipedia, this is the first entry I found on TMZ in relation to the gossip. 12th house emphasis. NN in 3rd house/pisces - future reporting, future gossip. Again jup-mars conj squ ura and wide opp between nep and saturn. Again the reporting place would be good to know to see if the sun sits on the first or the 12th - wherever it is, it is subject to attack and investigation from pluto. Venus also in first showing that she is the reigning Miss USA. Libra MC

I would personally consider transits to Donald Trump's chart to be an important factor here, since he's in control of this whole pageant jazz, and the whole organization is basically an outburst of his Leo rising chart. I've found more and more that transits for the individual having top leadership over any collective organization are quite important, especially when the organization is presided over by a highly powerful/controlling individual.

First, he has a natal Mercury/Southnode conjunction in Sag on the cusp of his 5th house, which was transited by Mercury around the time all this jazz started to happen. The fact that in all cases we have actions of the past (S.Node) catching up with women (Moon) being announced (Mercury) by Donald's organization is certainly congruent with the transit.

The big kicker, I think, is Saturn/Pluto. He's been loosing (Saturn/Pluto, the "loss" midpoint) beauty queens (Venus) from his organization, shown in the Saturn/Pluto midpoint squaring his natal Venus, with the Saturn/Pluto midpoint forming a near exact (7arcmin) square to his Venus when Saturn stationed earlier this month. The SA/PL=VE transit was down to 2 arcmin at the time of the last chart 23 posted above (12/21 11:59p). He's lucky he's not loosing money, but very well may be and we just don't know about it, or has yet to. I would imagine it's not presently the best time for him financially, either. Retrogradation of Saturn means the SA/PL=VE transit will strike 3 times, next on Jan 7-8th and again July 20-21 2007. It will be interesting to see if issues of Donald's losses resurface in the July timeframe; the third hit of this transit features mutual Jupiter/Venus and Venus/Jupiter 8th harmonic transits, the upper Uranus/Uranus square, Neptune trine/sextile his nodal axis, Jupiter trine his Pluto, and Pluto again trining his Mars, all <1 degree of orb.

Also, Neptune is currently rolling over his descendant. This is especially important as this forms the opposition midpoint to his Mars/Pluto and Jupiter/Uranus. Indeed these midpoints falling on his ascendant have a lot to do with the power he wields.

Jupiter/Uranus play a role the reverse way around, with the transiting Jupiter/Uranus midpoint opposing his natal Saturn. So, you can add hardass to expansive and shocking, and certainly he's being pretty harsh on these gals.

The Mars/Pluto combination activated by midpoint from Neptune is also amplified by transiting Pluto currently trining his natal Mars. Ruthless.

I'm sure there's plenty of other factors, but I figured I'd have a look at his transits/midpoint situation

This one has me curious... What else do you all have to add? It seems like such sillyness... It's pretty routine for hot 20 year olds to get blasted at a club, and no strange thing for a beauty queen to get naked on film :P
