Hi Jag, you know what, i've actually put some thought and study into how the nodes in aspect to planets affect lives. I have a friend with pluto conjunct nnode and his father was killed by his mother(for self-protection and accidentally) but he was witness to this and this event has shaped his life to a large degree. I've not read as of yet any writing linking aspects between the nodes and other planets in a natal chart. I did read once that the north node in signs was about where one is on the wheel of karma, aries being the beginning and pisces the end of the cycle. I think this concept is Vedic and using the sidereal positions, so 23 degrees back from tropical. I've on my own done research with people i know and aspects between nodes and planets. Squares, conjunctions and oppositions to nnode feel karmic to me. I have no tie-ins from nodes to planets but asteroid, pallas sits within a degree and chiron sits thirty degrees away. I like the exact 30 degree angle between planets. I've spent alot of time this life wondering why i'm here on the planet and when i saw that my nnode was not in aspect to any of the planets, it somehow validated the feelings i have of being foreign to this place, this way of life. It felt purposeful, like i'm here in this foreign place to do something. I'm glad to see someone else thinking about nodes in aspect...

Not sure if this post helps, it started as a pluto-NN question, kind of changed to something else.
I imagine that a pluto-NN conj would obviously mean the need to regenerate and have rebirth. Must be hard though, for this to be forced on to you.

My friend's birthdate is 27 January 1961 at 11:30am in Knoxville, Tn.. He's a pretty successful man in his chosen field, yes but i think the pluto and nnode aspect has forced him to experience death close up and personal. I have another friend with pluto bquintile nnode and her father was killed during a hanggliding accident. It's like she came here to have a father she adored taken, she was about 28 years old or so when this happened. Nnode in aspect to pluto feels like it brings lessons about things which are out of our control. It could confer power in this lifetime but i think the person with this aspect will have to come face to face with powerlessness first.

Also Jag, Marilyn Monroe had nnode conjunct pluto from the 12th house. She saw power and powerlessness both. So, i think it's both with this aspect. Hope it helps.

Hi, Jag. My mother has Pluto cj NNode in Cancer (home, family, mother). I don't have a birth time. Pluto and the NNode trine Saturn and sextile Mars. She grew up during the Depression and moved around a lot at a young age since her divorced mother was transferred to different stores in a chain to manage. After a while her mother decided it would be best to put her in the care of her sister who had a stable homelife so that my mom could have a consistent school/social life. So my mom moved around a lot and never had a family home. When she got married she was not able to conceive.
Later in life her mother helped her out during a difficult time by buying a house for her and taking care of my brother and I when my mother had to go to work. She kept that house until my brother and I finished high school. My mother is a homebody. She has always loved to be at home. Later she had a house that she designed built on a lake and lives a peaceful life there, but she is terrified that one day she'll be placed in a retirement home against her will. She was very traumatized by all the moves of her childhood and never forgave her mother for abandoning her (as she still sees it).
Jeff Green writes about Pluto/Nodes, the aspects. He thinks that Pluto and the Nodes work together in everyone's chart for soul growth even if they're not in aspect. Interesting subject.

Hello:)
This is a very interesting thread! I have my N.Node in Capricorn in my third house, and was wondering about what could possibly happen when transiting Pluto goes into Capricorn. Even though this thread doesn't discuss transits, it's been a huge help.

Hi AqMoon,
Is this the Mean or true NN ? And did Black Moon Lilith happen to make any aspect of significance?

I have the True NN on the 29th degr. of Cancer on my Mars in Cancer-Pluto in Leo midpoint in my 11th house. Mean Node is in Leo conjunct Pluto.
With Moon in Capricorn in the 5th house, I feel certain that the planetary influence to Cancer NN has been a way to open up my feelings and not keep everything to brew and boil inside. This has mainly occured through my associations and inter-actions with the masculine force, that have brought such obsessional and traumatic situations (through other aspects) that have forced the barriers open and brought about the change. This opening of feelings has obviously helped in my astrological work in later years, where imagination is a necessity.
It was once said to me that 'you are everyone's idea of a mum' . When my daughter danced in the formation team, her fellow dancers also remarked that I was like a mother to them all. My eyes mist up at world new reports that once left me cold and unmoved. I can get VERY heated and emotinal about community injustice.
I also read once that a Mars-Pluto aspect could suggest a transition of sex.
I have ALWAYS said that I 'm either a man learning to be a woman, or vice versa.:D

I don't usually focus a great deal of attention on the outer planets, and I would normally only consider the nodes to be activated by conjunction, but I had a look at my chart in any case, and it turns out I have no such configuration.
I will have a look at the charts of some people I know though.
I did want to mention something that may be of interest. On Noel Tyl's 'Astropro' site, he lists the dates in history and in the future, that Pluto forms a T-square with the nodes. I wonder then what the mundane significance of such a configuration might be?
The last time that Pluto formed the apex of a T-square with the nodal axis was very recently, on October 5th 2006, with Pluto in Sagittarius and the dragon laying across the Pisces/Virgo axis, the head being in Virgo.
Pluto was desposited by a peregrine Jupiter in Scorpio, which interestingly, happened to be at the apex of a T-square itself, between the Saturn/Neptune opposition.
The next time that Pluto and the nodes will configure in this way, will be January 21st of 2015, with Pluto in Capricorn and the dragon laying across the Aries/Libra axis, the head being in Libra.
Pluto at this time will be desposited by a peregrine Saturn in Sagittarius, coming from a sextile of the Aquarian Sun and applying a square to a Piscean Neptune.

Hi, Frisiangal.
Pluto almost exactly cj's her true NNode down to the minute.
Pluto is 2 deg from her mean NNode.
True BML is 3 deg from her Neptune and inconjuncts her Uranus.
Mean BML is 5 deg from her Sun, trines her Mars by 4 deg, semisextiles her Venus by 3 deg.
I just saw this on Maurice Fernandez's site:
Pluto in the 4th (as well as Pluto/Moon and Pluto in Cancer) have a lesson to evolve their emotions; this means basically regain emotional power through which they will be able to better process/handle life as well as heal.
Pluto in this position will bring to surface all limitations and dysfunction related to the emotional body, ie: emotional avoidance, lack and deprivation, excessive attachment to things, refusal to get out of compfort zones, and so on... and create related crises. The person may experience serious emotional wounding as a result, from early childhood on... Familial dysfunction and emotional abandonment may occur.
Once evolution is set in motion, the person can get to a point inwhich they reconnect to their inner child and accept their emotional nature, honnor the fact that emotions need attention and care. In a healthy way, this would be a person that IS THERE when needed; giving, nurturing and not pretentious in any way.
As the emotional body becomes a source of power, the soul can process life much better and assimilate its lessons better, faster, and deeper; it speeds up evolution and it allows the person to clear Karma without much effort.
When it is not resolved, a 4th House Pluto will stumble upon the same issues forever, stay insecure, become to defensive and protective to a point of rebuffing the new, and not access available potential. Like an overloaded computer that takes forver to process simple dynamics.
It can also create a reality in which all is well on the outside, brigthness, success... But at a closer look, the person may exhibit compulsions, avoidance pattern, and infantilism.
