About three months ago I met this girl. We hit it off instantly, but I didn't get her name, number, etc. The only thing I knew about her was that she was from another country and she moved here with family. While we were talking she asked me my last name, and I told her not thinking much of it.

Now, I don't have my last name on my facebook account, however, my family does. And if you type in my last name you could locate my profile through them.

Two days ago I received a friend request from an anonymous person. The person doesn't have a picture posted, but the name indicated she is female. It also says she is from the same country as the girl I met. (weird?)

I don't know anyone from her country, yet this random girl decides to add me.This is the first time it has occurred. What makes it really strange is that half of her friends on facebook are from my hometown, yet she doesn't indicate on her page that she has ever been there or even knows them.... Even more strange the facebook page was created early last month.

Could this be her? Could it be someone she knows? What is going on? Who is this person?

Thank you so much didi :biggrin:..Yes, she does have a name on her profile, but she doesn't have a picture. From what she wrote on her profile she is quite young, 18 to be exact. Do you know if there is anything indicating that I might know her or we have encountered each other before? Could she be the girl i met three months ago? She is also a foreigner, does the chart indicate that?

I was thinking if she did find me on facebook, she is probably too shy to tell me it's her. I don't think it's stalkerish, but some might. I mean, i like her and we get along well, we could be good friends.

hey inside info on girls here they dont have to be stakerish to want to be on your list... its like meeting someone and calling them to see if theres something in it?

my daughter did this with a guy she likes and well everyone here just adds everyone so no harm done, she hopes he will say hi that is all shes wanting for now at least and i suspect its the same with yours...

Yea, I wouldn't mind being her friend. I just want to make sure it's her. The first time we met we hit it off, but I think we were a little too nervous to say hey I'm on facebook. I think it's like an awkward teen thing like " hey you want to be friends?" That's so hard to do, you don't want to be rejected.

I did add her on facebook, and I did leave her message but she hasn't replied yet, hopefully she will

I've never gotten a friend request from anyone from her country. That's why I'm really hoping it is her, so I can put my anxiety to rest. I hate not knowing who it is. And even if it's not her I will still be relieved to know.

Before we spoke to each other, we had a few random meetings here and there, but never had a chance to talk until the last time I seen her. I liked her instantly. I had a feeling we could be good friends, maybe even become best friends, but I haven't seen her since than.

I guess it sounds weird that I'm so concerned about hearing from this girl, but I had a good feeling about her and hopefully my intuition is right
