For any of you that haven't seen the few threads in which i utilize this technique I have copied and pasted the brief explanation of understanding this process of symbolically analyzing a Planet in the retrograde event.
In review of how I utilize this technique which is still empirical as I have only been using it about 10 years and I must state I developed it from Rudhyars dicourses on the movements of the planets and the correspondence of meaning to be found in the Moons North Node to understand the intent of the Cosmos for the actions and motives of the planents at the times of the retrograde cycles within their orbits and the resultant compelling affect and demand for responsive and appropriate activity on the part of Humankind...so far...this technique looks solid...it has provided clear, appropriate...if not profound...symbolism as to what societal conditions are/were and has yet to be perceived as ref. to a planet in retrograde when it does a one, two, three...do si do...little dance that is of important observational notice and interpretation.
1. The degree and minute of the Zodiac it begins its retro. motion from.
2. The degree of the Zodiac it begins its 'Final Return' from.
3. When it returns to the exact degree and minute of the Zodiac that it started its retro movement from.
At each of these points its important to note the degree of the Zodiac the North Node is in at the time.
A planet at step number one is trying to release a principal/spiritual law of the Cosmos which is symbolically represented by the degree of the Zodiac it starts its retrograde motion from. This is the point I refer to as the "Stimulus"....what that particular planet is trying to get moving/influence [Stimulate...etc.] The symbol for the Noth Node at that time is "WHY" as it applies to society as a whole.
At step number two the planet is picking up 'ignition' energy for this 'cause' it is trying to achieve. The 'Ignition' is represented by the symbol for that degree of the Zodiac. The symbol of the degree of the Zodiac for the North Node at that point is, again, as to 'Why'.
At step number three we have the 'Release" and the degree symbology of the North Node again pertains to "Why".

well, if you all don't mind I'd like to do some Sabian analysis of the current situation of Uranus...aka 'The Great Awakener'.
It began its current retrograde motion at apprx. 04* Aries 34' [that's read as the 5th degree of Aries by Sabian Symbology degree enumeration] on the 10th of July...this is the 'impasse degree'...meaning that Uranus is having a difficult time 'awakening us to a 'Cosmic Principle' represented by the 5th degree of Aries..the symbol for which is [Rudhyar's book on the Sabians]:
"(ARIES 5°): A TRIANGLE WITH WINGS.
KEYNOTE: The capacity for self-transcending.
This is the symbol of the desire to reach a higher level of existence, of pure aspiration or devotion, of bhakti. What has emerged in the first phase of the process of differentiation is becoming aware of the possibility of further up-reachings. The principle of "levitation" is seen as one of the two essential factors in evolution. The emergent being glorifies and deifies it, but it is still only an ideal. The North Node at that time indicates 'WHY' as to World Society at the time...it was at 25* Sag. 09' i.e. the 26th degree of Sag. and by Sabian Symbology this 'WHY' is [Rudhyar]:

KEYNOTE: The nobly accepted subservience of the individual to collective values and goals.

Uranus is going back to 00* Aries 39' [apprx] ...that the 1st degree of Aries,on Dec 11 at which point it starts its' return and the 1st degree of Aries represents the next stage of Man/Woman-kind...the 'TRANSFIGURATION' [actually Scorpio 18* is kmpwm by the keyword 'TRANSFIGURATION' but when the symbol for Aries 01* is referred to an already existent life form, what elase could it mean but a 'Transformation' and when this process is is being referred to Human beings it is rather termed a 'Transfiguratio' which is what Jesus/Yeshua underwent according to all scholars on that subject. [see my thread on the 'Birth Chart of Jesus?' for more on this or read the chapter titled 'The Cross and the Star' in Rudhyar's book on the Sabian Symbols for more on this matter..]

...so...so far we have definite indications that Uranus is trying desperetly to 'Awaken' Humankind to a Higher Dimension of Being...so IT IS REURNING TO THE CONCEPT/PRImCIPLE OF A FRESH NEW FORM OF BEING AND POTENTIAL... the North Node on Dec 11, 2011 will be at 14* Sag. 06' apprx. i.e. the 15th degree of Sag. .na dthe Sabian will give a symbolic indication of hy this return [from Rudhyar's book]
" (SAGITTARIUS 15°): THE GROUND HOG LOOKING FOR ITS SHADOW ON GROUND-HOG DAY, FEBRUARY 2.
KEYNOTE: The value of anticipating new turns of events and ascertaining future prospects.
In our modern industrial society where policy changes and decisions often take several years to reach full actualization, it has become essential to plan with an eye on probable future developments. Such planning requires a study of past trends and the extrapolation of the results. What above all is implied in the symbol is a sensitivity to social or planetary rhythms, and the need to ensure at least relative safety by planning ahead.... " and Rudhyar used a key word here that I think is a bit 'camp' as he said it all has to do with some 'New Science' [that must have been a new ideea for branch of study some many years ago...that didn't catch on to my knowledge] called "PROSPECTIVE"....
So, as to 'WHY" Uranus being the 'Higher vibratory' communicator that it is is returning to a concept of a new untainted form as this new prototype of 'Global Human' will need to be just that...an un biased, un tainted form of which will be needed as to be able to adapt and proceed.
..of interesting note here is that Pluto began it's retro movement on April 10th at apprx. 07* Cap. 30' and starts its Final Return on Sept 17, 2011 @ 04* Cap. 53'...and there's the 5th degree of Capricorn again ...where the north Node was last year when Jupiter started its Final Return last Nov 19, 2010...and its that Sabian Symbol "(CAPRICORN 5°): INDIANS ON THE WARPATH, WHILE SOME MEN ROW A WELL-FILLED CANOE, OTHERS IN IT PERFORM A WAR DANCE. ... obviously which is already being felt as it draws so near...
KEYNOTE: The mobilization of physical and emotional energies in a spirit of conquest. ..." [..and with Mars in opposition to Pluto and square to Uranus...and the unrest and violence that has been building up these last couple of weeks ...it's all to very strangely in the same tenor with itself symbolically as one connects the dots...in that a they all contribute to the same illustration when you connect them...]
[and Pluto will be in the 5th degree of Capricorn, symbolized by the keyword "AGRESSIVENESS", this year from Aug 28 till Oct 11, 2011......the North Node at the time of the start of the Final Return will be in the 19th degree of Sag. and it is a symbol of finding a beter environment ,,perhaps to go so far as to say 'to find a safe refuge' for our young..and that form of being that is so piure and untainted will need such nurturing if you think about it...and when Pluto complets its retrograde final return the Nth. Node will be in the 13th degree of Sag. and that is {from Rudhyar}

KEYNOTE: The karma of past actions as it affects opportunities presented by a new cycle.
What the "widow's past" is remains obscure but the point is that even as a past cycle is closed — a phase of married life ends — the karma of whatever deeds or misdeeds this cycle witnessed will almost inevitably intrude into the new life period. Also, once a cycle of activity is concluded, much that was unclear or unconsciously motivated in the events it witnessed can now more easily come to the clear consciousness of the mind. It is possible to joyously herald the dawn from high above the actual stresses of existence (the preceding symbol), but the new day may be found loaded and darkened by the unfinished business of many a yesterday.
This is the third stage of the fifty-first five-fold sequence. Mankind is "the widow," because our soon-to-be-concluded Piscean Age has buried most of the ideals it once revered and proclaimed. Yet the New Age will have to deal with many oppressive ghosts. This is a symbol of RETRIBUTION. "

and when Uranus makes it's 'Fianl Return ' to 04* Aries 34' next March 26, 2012 to 'Release ' this 'Great Awakening' to a "capacity for self-transcending" and a " NEW DIMENSION of Being 'that has been envisioned'the North Node will be @ apprx. 08* Sag. 28' [the 9th degree of Sag.] and this will give the big 'WHY' as to this event from the Sabin Symbol for the 9th degree of Sag. [from Rudhyar's book]
" (SAGITTARIUS 9°): A MOTHER LEADS HER SMALL CHILD STEP BY STEP UP A STEEP STAIRWAY.
KEYNOTE: The need in any social situation to assist the less evolved in their management of the problems which society requires its members to solve.
A staircase does not present a natural difficulty to a very young child. Man builds stairs and therefore is responsible for assisting the child to climb them step by step. Social and cultural living is not "natural." The child must first be taught by example, then helped along as he imitates as well as he can the grownup's behavior. Climbing stairs is only an illustration of a general process. Every generation must involve itself in teaching the next even the simplest skills needed for social existence.
At the fourth stage of the preceding five-fold sequence we saw parents encouraging a little child to walk. Walking is a natural human function; climbing stairs is a skill made necessary by the building of several-storied houses — a product of civilization. What is implied here is SOCIAL CONCERN for the less evolved of society's members. "
[and it is a good time to remind and point out that Neptune all this time is doing a retrograde boogie woogie of its own ...having sarted in the 1st degree of Pisces...the Sabian Symbol for which is "The Marketplace" and for which the keyword is "COMMERCE" ...which, incidently, happens to be Pres. obama's Part of Catastrophe...and all the degree it is involved with in the start of the final return at the 29th of Aquarius ...which is a symbol of 'Metamorphosis" ...again a symbol of new form[s]...transformation...but this dance is about 'Commerce' and the Marketplace...corporations...the Stock Market...Banking... and the North Node on Feb 28, 2012 when Neptune makes it's Final Retun to 00* Pisces 56' will be ay apprx. 09* Sag. 53', i.e. the 9th degree of Sag. and that is a symbol of focing one/us/it all to 'Grow' ...and again a symbol of ready or not ...some are going to make it some won't ...and try to help those that will struggle in their attempt....but this will be focus on the way the world does business among itself...and that it will change whether it wants to..is ready to ...thinks it needs to ..or not.]
..and that just so smoothly goes along with a lot of the general predictions/deductions/portends and such that have been proclaimed and or circulated by most everyone that is at least the slightest bit 'Spiritually concious'...it would seem that Humankind and its civilization will be asked to take some big steps whether all its members can do it unassisted or not and its up to those that can make this transition smoothly and understandingly to help the less evoled of us...like the old saying went..."Walking, Crawling or Wheeling...if they don't come willing we'll just have to drag them along screaming...kinda time of Humankind....
