I went over to the big mega book store with cash - ready to buy any book on Horary... and found nothing. :(

What is everyone using as reference books? Any you would recommend? Is there a Horary for Dummies? There is an Astrology for Dummies but it's pretty standard stuff.

And my next question... Do you do your charts yourself? Or do them online? What sites would you recommend?

I feel like I have squeezed as much out of the internet as I can and I would like to learn more... has anyone taken the Tara courses?

Always seeking,
Michele

Hi

From the complete list you may find here: http://www.astrologyweekly.com/more-horary/books.php
the best ones are said to be:

Horary Astrology, Plain and Simple: Fast And Accurate Answers To Real World Questions - by Anthony Louis (1998)
The Horary Textbook - by John Frawley
The Martial Art of Horary Astrology - by Lee Lehman
Handbook Of Horary Astrology - by Karen Hamaker-Zondag
Simplified Horary Astrology - by Ivy Goldstein-Jacobson

You may find them on Amazon.

As for charts' generating, an astrological software would be most fit: Janus, SolarFire, Winstar... even a free one such as Canopus will do the job, although many additional features are not available.

As for the courses, the best ones I've heard of are Lee Lehman and John Frawley's...

Good luck!

Thank you Radu!

I am feeling so drawn to Horary but still have yet to have my "Aha" moment...

Take care and thanks so much for such an educational site!
