I'd like you all to fin d your Part of Imagination and share with what you believe it represents. Usually these Parts represent, symbolically, what must be consciously applied...in a few instances it's what's already inherent [Part of Soul for examp.]

As the 12th house cusp [placidus] represents symbolically that which is 'your answer to the Worlds dilemma and my 12th huse cusp is the 25th of Libra

...also there are a number of other examples of this technique using the Sabian Symbols in this Degree Symbol Forum...I am attempting to ascertain the proper 'nomenclature' for this Part, as most of the 'appellations/titles given these parts are somewhat misleading...if not entirely inappropriate. I've already been able to determine that the part of Disputes...sometimes call the Part of Lawsuits...and is the reverse formula for the Part of Intelligence/Skill/Wisdom...to be more properly titled the 'Part of Innocence'...

Like my symbols in the 1st post illustrate...I was born to do it...to see the 'Symbology' in everything and every occurrence...

I calculated the part of Imagination for Yeshua/Jesus from my chart that I propose is his...it is the 26h of Cap.

This is an excellent example [if not the best...] of what I've referred to as "Ringing with the overall 'TENOR' of a charts' Sabian Symbology."

I still question as to whether this Part should be known as the Part of Imagination. Because I would have to give that realm to Neptune not Uranus...I just had a flash that it should be called the "Part of Higher Intelligence"...as that is what Uranus rules. It's a Part more about what we can conjecture about our own greater intelligence...possibly...but more than conjecture...I believe it will provide applicable symbolic imagery that is valid to each of us in its own way...and your own particular application/way of it.

War is often undertaken mainly to mobilize the common will and avoid individualistic disintegration. The "Indian chief" in the symbol for Capricorn 1° may find it convenient or necessary to arouse the war spirit — perhaps under a very slight provocation — in order to more firmly establish his authority. The scene presents an extremely dynamic situation. The group (or the nation) affirms its solidarity and unity of purpose by taking the offensive. Okay...I've given this part a lot of thought as to it's name which i think is misleading...in that 'Imagination' and imagining belong more to the realm of Neptune not Uranus. As Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury ..aka 'Great Awakener", 'The Force of Change most often unexpected...and often rudely'
two sides of Uranus...but as this Part by all indications appears to be that of a benefic one I have to say the former attributes of Uranus apply here and what I believe we have is a 'Part of Intuition' with this formula..."Higher Intuition' if you please.
This makes far more sense and explains what I've been seeing in folks charts by the Sabians when I've applied it an analyzed it.

...any thoughts? comments?...other suggestions?

...as Uranus in the 11th House does bestow an intuitive capability to perceiving and or ...the sort....understanding Universal Laws, Higher Laws of science, metaphysics, ...Spiritual Laws

After skimming the thread again and thinking about it, I think there's some truth to the idea of the Part of Imagination not really being about 'imagination'. When you look at it that way, the Part suddenly doesn't make any sense.


PHASE 335 (PISCES 5°): A CHURCH BAZAAR.

KEYNOTE: The value of giving a spiritual or transcendent sanction to even the most commonplace interchanges between social persons and individual minds.

This is the last of five symbols emphasizing the interaction between people constituting a social group, small or large. It brings in the element of religious sanctions. The purpose of any organized religion is primarily to meet the need of giving a more permanent significance to interpersonal relationships within the framework of a particular way of life and culture. It helps to keep the society "whole" by making it "holy"— at least in principle and ideal. It justifies human behavior by blessing it with a divine Revelation of what is good and valuable. It idealizes biological and social needs by ritualizing them.

This ends the sixty-seventh five-fold sequence on a note of RITUALlZED BENEFICENCE. It stresses the possibility of the "Presence of God" in even the most material human activities.

Mine fits better when I look at it as relating to, like Piercethevale said, intuiton or higher intelligence. I've thought for a long time now that the people who are the most spiritually evolved and have the most depth are the ones who almost never think about this stuff and don't really practice anything metaphysical, spiritual or occult, so both the keynote sentence and the last sentence of this particular Sabian really jumped out at me.

the Part of Imagination for the USA natal is 17* Sag. 25'
