My question is related to the Lunar eclipse of April 24, 2005 - given that I was born on April 24, 1961 (Montreal, Quebec at 12:05 pm GMT), how is this eclipse likely to affect me?

It affects the entire year, as it appears on your 2005 Solar Return chart. The eclipse ocurred about one hour after the exact passing of the transiting Sun over its natal position (Solar Return).
As the Sun was in the 1st house it means a very important year in terms of personal affirmation, a very active life during this year busy in trying to apply into practice your own way of doing things. At the same time, the opposition with the Moon from the 7th house reminds you not to forget about your relationships, which are more likely to shatter if you choose not to take good care of them.
So, do your own things, make a difference in your life this year, yet do not forget to seek harmony in the relationship field as well.
