Okay, I'm going to attempt to read my own chart this time and I'd really appreciate any feedback. I feel a little more confident and I'm starting to understand a little more, but I start to get confused when I start seeing the squares, trines, etc and knowing how to get good details from them.

So, my question was about pregnancy within the next year. Something I'd love. I'm ready for another baby! And in a few months we might be in a place where we can finally start trying, though we're not using a whole lot of protection now.

My Ascendent is in Aquarius, which isn't exactly a fertile sign, but not a barren sign either. My 5th house is ruled by Cancer, which as a water sign is fertile. Those are two steps in the yes direction, correct? My moon is in Aries, which is a so-so sign, but it's in the 2'd house and makes no aspects that are useful unfortunately, which is not good. It's square Mercury, which is in the 5th house.

I see some good pointers, but I see a lot that aren't there that should be there and a few negatives. So I'm guessing it's a no? Any inputs?

Thank you, Tikana! The moon is also separating from a square with Mercury, which also seems negative.

I wanted to ask about the moon being void, if you don't mind - how do you figure that out? Is there an easy way to read that on the chart? I find that aspect of chart reading really confusing. Moon being void is when it won't make any aspects before leaving the sign it's in, correct? How would you calculate that?

(Following is not in accordance with standard horary practice)

The Part of Conception (ascendant+sun-mars, night formula) falls in the fertile Pisces @ 25 degrees of that sign, with querent's significator Saturn flowing toward it. That is quite + testimony for pregnancy, but then finding the SN in the 5th whole sign house would have given me pause relative to the otherwise + finding; I think that I would have delineated this answer as a "maybe" or 50/50 chance...
Congratulations and good luck!!

Thank you for your reply and congratulations! :) Well, we weren't even trying, so it's a total surprise and of course it's still early in the pregnancy... so we'll have to wait and see how it goes.

Congratulations on pregnancy!

The problem with this chart is that it's 1st house is intercepted, with dual signs there its hard to delinate which planet to use as primary significator.

Both Saturn and Jupiter would be your significator and even Moon could be the significator or just general event ruler. I'd take Sun to be the main significator of the baby as its in 5th. Sun and Moon have strong reception between them, although no aspect.

Sun(baby) applying to Jupiter (you), also shows a possibility of a baby.

But Void Moon showed nothing to come of the question. When you ask pregnancy within the next year, maybe you meant in 2012? A Void Moon probably meant nothing to come of it, as you got pregant this year...yes, Sometimes it is that literal!

Hope all goes well for you and congrats again!

Priti...

Please start your own thread. And if you wanting a natal reading post it in natal section. This is horary, we don't look at you birth time/date. Please read instructions before you post in here...

cheers!
