Okay I hope very much that I am following the reinstated guidelines.

I am asking What I should do for a living.

Background, I know I am experiencing Saturn conjunct my progressed MC and since that time I have been stuck employement wise no matter how much I put myself out there I get shot down. So maybe I'm going about this wrong maybe I am be given the chance to take a look at what I want or should be doing.

This is only second attempt at Horary so, let see I know the ruler of rising is me so that is venus.

Venus is 14 sag in the 7th house. The ruler of the 10th house is Uranus and Uranus is at 10 pisces so Me and the Ruler of the 10 are square each other. But not sure how to read that .. does the square mean at odds? Uranus is unpredictable right also internet, also electronics etc... Uranus is conjunct the moon, so venus is square the moon too (conflict of my emotions on what to do for a living?) and depending on what house system you use Uranu/Moon could be in the 10th or 11th.. mine shows 11th so natural house of aquarius so still dealing with aqua type things? Not sure how to throw the moon in there.

My natal chart my MC is Cancer my moon is in the 5th house in pisces square my mercury in the 8th in gemini and sextile my saturn in the 7th.

How does the moon play out in Horary? Also do you use the same orbs or tighter ones when looking at a horary chart? Venus is 8 degrees conjunct the Sun I hear people talk about the sun being combust or something like that? What does that mean I take it bad?

Also do I look at the sign is in so example Uranus in Pisces so also a piscean type field or Venus a sag type field or only aspects?

Looks like Uranus is square the sun, venus, and jupiter..so not sure how that tells me what I should be doing? I'm guessing and saying internet stuff or electronic stuff or 11th house so government or group entity type stuff?

Hi Venus,
I am not good at explaining but I can often look at a chart and get a feeling from it. In your case,after reading your post and looking at your horary chart I felt that you would be a 'Teacher' or 'tutor',possibly computers maybe for children.
If I attempt to justify this astrologically,its not easy for me but I would say Saturn(the teacher) transiting your progressed mc and in 4th of horary.Moon is natural ruler of 4th and in natal chart cancer is your mc and moon in 5th(house of children).
Chiron in 9th (studies) conjuncts mc in horary chart and chiron is good at teaching others and in aquarius it indicates computers or technology.
Mars(doing) and Jupiter(expanding the mind) sit cosily each side of desc in horary and Sagittarius rules most of 7th house(relating)
Moon with Uranus in 11th house(large groups of people) in horary and mercury in 6th(using communication in daily routine).

Ok this is all a bit jumbled and probably only makes sense to me :confused: but I tried.lol

Hi Venus, I think the question may be a little vague; do you have an idea of what you want to do? It would give a better idea on which direction to go with but I’ll try anyway. You are Venus in the 7th, so your income comes mainly from your spouse? Venus squares Uranus and the moon in the 11th, of friends, groups and organizations so this would explain your frustration. Venus jobs are in the beauty and fashion industry, or anything related to making something ‘pretty’. Horary uses traditional ruler ships so the 10th house is Aquarius, traditionally ruled by Saturn in the 4th and opposes Neptune. Aquarius is humanitarian, working with the public, and of service to others. Merc trine Uranus and moon, so a job that’s not boring or routine and definitely a lot of communication. This is a wide range of careers and I agree that you would do well in a teaching profession. Neptune jobs are photography, dancers, designers and people who work in the background so to speak. Maybe there is an issue with balancing work and home. Saturn is pessimistic and cautious and is also a delaying influence. Sorry that’s about all I could come up with.

Thanks Cossie and Virgo both of what you said made sense. I also thought after I submitted the thread and thinking on the Uranus about the lack of routine that would be nice. That's part of the problem though as far as knowing what to do Virgo not sure actually. But whatever I do try I get bored and it doesn't feel right I feel a great deal of restlessness so I think that would be the Uranus. If I could do anything it's to be a writer. I got to thinking though childrens books would be perfect although I haven't thought of that line of books before. And my income now is sort of spouse it's wierd. Went through a divorce but still living together, he is kind enough to let me figure out what it is I'm doing here career wise when I really have no clue so yeah I guess income by him for now. But would like to figure this out so I can get back on my own. One thing about writing that is hard on me is the focus and hardwork you have to put into research so maybe Saturn is saying well if you want it you gotta work at it even the ucky parts. But I might actually start doing some research on childrens books see what I can find out :) thanks.

Oh can either of you tell me what the combust means that I hear others talk about I really don't know and how do I tell that between two planets and what does it mean.

combust is when another planet other than mars conjuncts the sun closer than 8 degrees, this makes the planet weak and unfortunate. There is a spot too (that I tend to forget about) it's called the via combusta it's between 15 deg libra and 15 deg scorpio, if the moon falls in between, the chart is uninterperatable.
ya, writing books requires a lot of saturn discipline and results wouldn't be immediate, maybe neptune in the 10th is telling you to set goals that are realistic for what will help now, not that this wouldn't be a great career and don't get me wrong I'm not trying to tell you that you can't or shouldn't do this because you can, but there will be a lot to go through in order to succeed so lots of time and energy would be required and if your sure about it and have the time and are ready, go for it! if not do it on the side and see if it's something that you really want to do. Oh I don't at all feel you are saying I can't, my Taurus can appreciate and respect the practical advice you're giving me and it is very much so. I missed the Neptune up there. Probably a good indicator of my confusion as well as far as where my career is headed.

Of course my Merc in Gemin can't resist a funny when I see one though, with Uranus and Neptune I say I might become an internet Religous Cult leader LMAO :P :38: :banana: KOOOOL AID FOR ALL

Thank you very much for explaining the combust aspect I have always wondered about that, I will play around with that knowledge now a little bit more. I'm new to the Horary part of astrology I'm finding it fun thanks to everyone's input.
