One of the seven Hemetic lots [or Parts].
It is described thus [source: Chris Brennan] " Eros is associated with
yearnings (ὀρέξεις) and desires (ἐπιθυμίας) that are actualized because they are deliberately chosen, as well as friendship (φιλίας)."
So, as to my yearnings and desires, the symbolism of the Sabian Symbol found at that degree will illustrate those qualities, that I deliberately chose and will thus look for those qualities in those I choose to seek friendship with.
It is calculated by use of the Part of Spirit and as I do not subscribe to the belief of reverse formulae for day/night births for the Part of Spirit I am using what is known as the 'Day Formula'.
The equation is thus: Asc + Venus - Part of Spirit.
For me that is
7 [Scorpio] 17* 10' + 12 [Aries] 15* 06 - 10 [Aquarius] 09* 22' = 9 [Cap.] 22* 54' . The 23rd degree of Capricorn.

This could not be more true as to how I am all about friendship. I currently provide my old friend Rick with his own bedroom and private bath rent free as He has been a steady and true friend. The only one to visit me in Jail. One of the very few that witnessed the accusations, the trials, tribulations and stood up for me, believed in me and heard the fantastic and unbelievable accounts of my life, of which, that I have confided in him and doesn't flinch [for want of a better term]. Rick is the fellow mentioned in my book as the one that provided his laptop computer for my research and helped me get online in my room at the old Folsom Hotel in 2004 and with whose assistance [I was still pretty green with a computer then] we subsequently discovered my [proposed] birth chart of Yeshua/Jesus on.
I bought My homeless friend Kenny a new Fender acoustic guitar recently when his old one was stolen. I've let him spend many night on my couch...fed him, clothed him, etc. Kenny is a special soul that most people look down upon...but without, for whom, I might not be alive today...most likely I wouldn't be. He's been at the right place at the right time with subsequent revelatory info...an, 'informant' if you please...but for the 'cause'.
I could go on and on with many of my friends that I have and their stories and how I always seem to be 'Awarding' them...'Recompensing' them.
