Hi everyone.

My cat "Io" hasn't been well the last 2 days. He is having throat issues. He's having trouble swallowing and he could barely eat his soft food and drink water yesterday. I think he has a sore throat or allergies.

Yesterday morning I asked the horary if this is something really serious going on that I should worry about.

In the chart - the 6th house is Libra. So he is Venus exalted in Pisces. His 6th house ruling illness is Pisces. So he is in the rulership of the disease. So Jupiter is his illness and it's in his 6th house. His 6th house is loaded with planets...the Sun, Mars, Jupiter, and me (Mercury). I'm conjuncting the chart's 12th house cusp - fitting- this is hurting me too.

The moon is in my 8th and in Capricorn, its detriment. It separated from Jup and Sat and applying a square to me Mercury.

I'm a novice and I know next to nil about health-related horaries. Does the Sun represent his health/vitality? It's exalted in Aries and applies a conjunction to Jupiter, his illness, in his 6th opposing Saturn in his 12th.

I'm not sure if this is good or bad. I'm just hoping for the best and I'm an overly concerned mama. All the planets in his 6th make me worry more.

Note: Today, he was eating more baby food and soft food but still not much water.

Will Io be ok? I can tell he is mad as hell! He wants to be back to his crazy rambunctious self but he can't because he's sick.

thanks

An Update: I had to take Io to the vet today. He choked up so much phlegm this morning while I was trying to wash his face that I got concerned. Plus, he's hardly drinking water so I knew he needed some fluids at the hospital for his dehydration. He's been eating baby food and drinking some canned food mixed with water like soup this past week. But he's not touching his hard food. He's never been sick before and this was making him very weak.

The vet said it could be feline herpes, an upper respiratory infection, or allergies. But she said if it's allergies then its nothing like she's ever seen before. He had a temperature but at least the test for Feline Leukemia came back negative. He's on antibiotics and a drink that will induce hunger. If he's not better in the next few days, I'll take him back for more tests. Thanks for your wisdom regarding this matter, Dr. Farr.

Update 4/13: He's off his meds and in perfect health!
