I asked if I'll get a good result with this Dr? I'm considering an elective procedure. Something I don't need but would like to get. Is this dr. the one that will give me the result I want?

My guess is no because I (as Moon) have just opposed him as Jupiter (if he's ruler of 6th as a dr.) and there are no other good aspects between us that will come of the Moon's movements (I think). I'm in his sign, so he doesn't want to do me wrong, but I'm also moving quickly out of an opposition with him. True, I was just in his office and left without doing the procedure because of the additional things he wanted to have done. I am the type that needs research and facts and deliberation before any major decision. (Hence this chart).

I do like that I'm in his 1st house in the 6th and that he is in his 5th. This is a kind of procedure that would require artistic ability as a dr, I would say. It's cosmetic but not a surgery.

I think overall my answer to the question is no. Anyone in agreement or disagreement to help me decide?

Thank you.

Unless he's a dentist, he's 7, not 6. See what it looks like from that perspective instead.

I can never win. So, if he's Saturn Rx, I will move to square him and my result is NO.

Thank you very much Olivia.

Radical suggestion: Given the charts you got before, and this one with a new doctor, and it's supposed to be a minor procedure, do you think it may indicate that if you have the procedure done at all you won't be happy with it, or it will not live up to your expectations?

I'm wondering that at this point.

On the plus side, the 'cure' or outcome is the 10th, and you've got Jupiter (your exaltation ruler) conjunct Fortuna in that house. On the downside, they oppose Saturn (the physician).

What about the first doctor (in the earlier chart)? From my delineation that looked very promising...how about that doctor?

He's still on the radar, I'm just trying to determine who would be the best doctor to go with. They're both rated as tops in my city. Just so hard to decide.

Yes, that's a very likely possibility. I'm a perfectionist, especially when it comes to myself.

Your comment brought up another question:

The idea of outcome - which is exactly what I'm really asking about. Do we only see outcome stemming from the 10th house - or in this case (being a facial procedure) can we look at the state of the 1st house and Moon's placement too to tell us the final outcome?

Lastly, I'm sorry, I don't understand what this would mean here, Olivia: "On the downside, they oppose Saturn (the physician)." My outcome is not what the physician wants? Maybe because if I get this fixed, I wouldn't need him anymore OR the fact he tried to "upgrade" and sell me more services than what I need.... could this be it?

Outcomes (of medical or natural treatments) are better shown through evaluation of the Part of Operations and Orders in Medical Treatment (which I often refer to as the Part of Medicine) : which is a derived 10th house lot, but refines the 10th house to this specific delineation. Formula: by day = asc+jupiter-sun; by night = asc+sun-jupiter.
The aspect or movement (flow) of your significator to or away from the Part, the ruler of the sign the Part falls in (and its relation to your significator), the situation of the Part (angular/succedent or cadent), the relationship of the Part with your Part of Fortune, etc will allow a better evaluation of the outcome, than merely using the 10th house...

I wanted to revive this comment, as I haven't made a decision yet and made an appt. with him then cancelled. I need to understand this fully. I hear you saying here that I will eventually get a good outcome - not much I can think of more possible than Jupiter conjunct POF in 10th. HOWEVER, I see it's not with Dr. T. Is that what you're saying for sure?

Also - do you think I can look at this chart for more clues on the "how/where" I'd find that elusive Jupiter/POF conjunction?

Thanks, Olivia!!
