I have Mars in Libra and my ex boyfriend has Venus in Libra.

My current boyfriend has Venus in Libra also.

The orbs are not close enough to be conjunct.


What I wanted to know was....Can this still affect the Venus and Mars person in still being attracted to eachother based on planet ruler not just a conjunction?

I think so! Though of course there will be conflicting opinions, and you will need to come to your own conclusion. I would consider Mars/Venus in the same sign in synastry to indicate a strong attraction, though you are right, not as strong as if there were a conjunction. Especially since these two personal planets are so strongly "activated" through relating to others, I think you will notice the "double libraness" of the way you relate quite easily. Your Mars (the way you assert yourself, your motivation and personal energy and the way you act upon desires) "works" in the same way as their Venus(es) (the way that they relate, interact socially, and appreciate values and beauty, amongst other things). Basically their receptive, loving nature "recieves" your active (end yes, sexual!) nature. Yeehah!! :banana:

I think traditional astrology suggests that a strong reception between your Venus (a yin/feminine planet) and their Mars(es) (a yang/masculine planet) is a more poweful female/male connection, but personally I think that is based on limited assumptions of the nature of heterosexual relationships. I think a woman's Mars in strong reception to a man's Venus (or a woman's Sun in strong reception to a man's Moon, etc) is a smashing aspect, not least because I have had this one myself :D

That said, it is only ONE aspect of the way you might relate, so perhaps keep an eye on the rest of your synastry etc, and see if you can nail some other important factors :)

Cool. Usually Libra sun's get kind of obsessive with me. Might be the Mars and Pluto.

His Venus conjuncts my Pluto.

With my ex...My Venus conjuncts his Pluto.

They are both Scorpio Suns.

Ok. His Venus is in my 4th house and My Venus is in his 4th house also.


My Mars is in his 8th house ( Spicy lol)
His mars is in my 6th house

Ok well he is a Scorpio with Taurus moon

I am a Gemini/Cancer cusp with a Taurus moon


My Taurus moon as at the 29th degree aka anaretic anarectic( Whatever)


His Taurus moon is at 5 degrees.


Not conjunct but can this still attract in some way as well?
