One quick question, I understand that when the astrologer is not the querent, and Saturn is in the 7th house it means the astrologer is not in a position to interperate the chart, but what if the querent is represented by Saturn, and Saturn is in the 7th house, is the chart still not operable?
Thanks!

Hello, Virgo96019...

According to William Lilly, when Saturn is in the 7th, the judgement of the astrologer can be impaired or altered; the issue asked about will go from disgrace to disgrace, or from bad to worse. I read that Johnatan Clark adds: "unless the question is about a seventh house subject".

Thank you!
I was a little confused because a friend wanted to know if a certian person had stolen something because she had already been caught stealing from someone else, I wasn't sure which house to use, 7 or 12. I opted for 12 because we really aren't sure if she did or not, and because I already suspect she did it, I figured I already had my mind made up and felt like I was reading what I wanted to "hear", I can't seem to have an open mind about it....Darn! Now we'll never know!:)
Thanks again!

Hi,

as far as I know thieves are represented by the 7th house. Planets in rhe 7th might describe the person ... might be an elderly person.

If you already have a potential thief earmarked then they take the seventh. I wouldn't worry that this means that the chart will only tell you what you want to hear, because if she isn't the thief then the ruler of the seventh will tell you so. The twelfth is only used when you have absolutely no idea as to who the thief may be. A pinpointed suspect is the seventh.

Remember that a consideration before judgement is just that, a consideration to be made before proceeding to judge, not a consideration before not judging at all. It just calls you to beware in the judgement you make. A consideration before judgement does not disqualify judgement, just calls for extra consideration.

she is not elderly, under the age of 25, but an elderly person does play a role in this.
