Attached is the chart for my question, my natal chart with transits, and a synastry chart between the two.

I'm asking this question during the peak of the Solar Eclipse on my natal North Node as well as this eclipse's Midheaven conjuncting Regulus in Leo and this eclipse's Vertex in Cancer conjuncting my natal Midheaven in Cancer.

An Eclipse conjunct a Node is like saying your Ascendant is conjunct the Horizon. It's nonsensical. The Nodes are eclipse points. The Nodes are where the Eclipses occur: North is Solar; South is Lunar. In the grand scheme of things, it is completely meaningless.

Your 4th House represents your parents, not the 10th House. You don't have to be Ghandi to be here for a special purpose and as incarnations I guess for some people bright lights and space seem to have put a zap on their head.

It doesn't. The eclipse would only play a role if you can physically see it. If you can't, it's as though it never happened and you treat it as a garden-variety Moon/Sun conjunction just like the other 12 that happen every year. If you can see it, the Moon in Capricorn and neither Sun nor Moon receiving each other would spell disaster, especially since Moon/Sun are Planetary Enemies.

You Horary Chart has Ascendant Ruler Mars and Moon Combust, indicating you are powerless regarding the matter and that is a clear "No" answer.

Your natal chart has Ascendant Ruler Combust, Occidental and in Detriment so it isn't going to work for you very well.

Ugh, bob! Why so much hatred in your post? Those sites only try to do their best in interpreting and explaining astrology, same as anyone else. Also either type of eclipse can happen at either of the nodes, it just depends on where the Moon is at the time. And you misunderstood, the OP says they were having a transit of the Sun on their birth node placement, which coincided with the eclipse; The orb for the lunar is about 14 degrees, which I've red many astrologers consider to be within the Sun's orb for conjunction, not sure if the luminaries were close enough to the nodes to have made a solar eclipse at this passing new moon.. The lunar eclipse did land in the midheaven in Cancer, exactly what it means will depend on who you ask.

dperez, the vertex can only be between the 5th-8th houses, maybe you mean your part of fortune or midheaven?

I disagree that combustion is the worst misfortune (and have read theories that Mars can't be combusted anyway), but looking at the birth chart, the ruler of the midheaven and POF is in Capricorn, which definitely indicates an ambition or control. Unhappily in detriment but at least for the time away from the Sun, so, fair. The ruler of the Sun is in Aquarius conjunct Jupiter - I bet we've got a democrat here lol (your bday's not far from Rachel Maddow's also). I really wish you had used Placidus, I find it more accurate than equal sign, but no matter.

Looking at the event chart my interpretation draws my eye to the ruler of the midheaven being in Capricorn and its ruler in the 11th house, while the ruler of the ascendant and fortune is there along with an entire stellium; hence you are here discussing your ambitions of politics. :alien: It is fast, neutral in dignity, not aspecting a benefic but approaching it. This suggest to me that it's just not the time yet. Maybe an okay time to be thinking about things, but nothing's happening right now (also because of Mercury slowly turning direct and beginning to speed up, though still in shadow).
