progression and location?

If like myself you live in a country other than where you were born.
When you calculate your progressed natal chart do you use the co ordinates for the country of birth or country of residence?
For me this makes a difference of one sign on the ascendant.

I don't think there IS a definitive answer :( My instinct is to stick with your natal co-ordinates, simply because I don't think that moving really should cause radical changes in your progressed, and other charts. It's all opinion though :) Do you have any reason to believe that either chart is more accurate for you at the moment?

My feeling is that my progressed chart for my country of residency is more accurate, but simply because it gives me a pisces ascendant,which I can totally identify with.I have been wondering why Ive felt more neptunian?! But that could be due to other factors.
I have only lived here for 5 years and it hard to get my head around how my progressed ascendant can make the jump from aquarius to pisces in a 9 hour plane journey!
Interestingly, it just occured to me that if I do my progressed natal chart for my country of residence at the time it became my country of residence,(also the year I met my husband and got married hence my move abroad) my progressed ascendant conjuncts my natal pars fortunae.
I am only just discovering the pars fortunae and dont yet completely understand its significance,but just happened to notice this and thought it was interesting as it was such an unexpected turning point in my life and in so many ways, the time I found my fortune!

I guess one way to test it would be to see if you notice anything in your life when your progressed moon hits an angle in the progressed chart for the place of birth or the current place that you are living. L.
