I checked my natal chart and I noticed I don't have a single hard aspect to Jupiter(the planet of luck) in Aquarius in the 5th House, unless you count the Mars/Jupiter conjunction as hard. Here's the aspects;

Sun Sextile Jupiter
Venus Sextile Jupiter
Mars Conjunct Jupiter
Saturn Trine Jupiter
Neptune Trine Jupiter
Pluto(conjunct Ascendant) Trine Jupiter
Ascendant Trine Jupiter
Midheaven BiQuintile Jupiter

I've had several close calls with disaster over the years, both personal and natural, and yet I somehow "luck" my way out of them. Is this why?

You should remove the asteroids from your chart. They tend to visually clutter your horoscope. Keep Chiron maybe at most.

Even the hard aspects to Jupiter grant luck, though the close-calls with disaster tend to be closer. Probably, the physical close-calls are mostly brought on by your Moon Square Uranus, with a little contribution by the extremely wide Mars Square Uranus. And then close-calls in interpersonal relationships, where you're almost "found out" (maybe by women?)are indicated by transits to the T-Square involving Mercury, Saturn and Neptune, though I imagine some of those might actually get through.

Jupiter in Aquarius isn't the strongest place for that planet's expression, especially in any aspect to Saturn, but paradoxically Mars in Aquarius will tend to add tremendous power to Jupiter, but tends to rob it of its more philosophical or thoughtful tendencies. But, its' still a lucky combination indeed.

Jupiter will generally grant passive "luck" in soft aspect to the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus, tending to make those natives crave leisure, serenity, simplicity or harmony. Also all Jupiter aspects, positive or negative, tend to bring the native in touch with wealth somehow, even if it doesn't belong to him/her personally, its still close by. Mars-Jupiter is fairly dynamic, luck in action...one of those "fortune favors the brave" aspects. Mars-Neptune is also a very "lucky" aspect but tends to be a bit freaky in all the weird "coincidences" the native can manifest just by desiring them.

I also have a lot of Jupiter aspects in addition to being Sagitarry. One day in California, I accidentally slipped off a ridge. I tumbled to the bottom, but magically landed perfectly on my feet. I dusted myself off, and my friend just looked at me with disgust and muttered, "Sag..."

mars conj Jupiter confers a confidence and well aspected. BUT I notice you are Libra Asc which tends to restlessness and indecisveness and this is doubled due to sun/venus in 7th house. Cancer MC tends to worry and moon is challenged by quincunx to saturn and a singleton ie: only planet in capricorn which tends to get on better with older people/generations...

Also Saturn opp Neptune can suggest depression, espec when triggered by transit, solar arc or progression....

Good to hear from you that you are very lucky, however chart is not so lucky:
~ Saturn is in elevation, which squares detrimental Mercury
~ Uranus and Chiron squares detrimental Moon
~ Pluto conjuncts ASC and opposes Venus
~ Sun is squared by North Node and Par Fortuna

I wish that good luck is with you next year also.

So it seems I have at least four T-Squares in my chart;

Cardinal T-Squares
---------------------------
Pluto/Asc(Libra), Midheaven(Cancer), Sun/Venus(Aries)
Uranus(Libra), Moon(Capricorn), Chiron(Aries)
North Node(Capricorn), Sun(Aries), Part of Fortune(Cancer)

Mutable T-Square
-------------------------
Saturn(Gemini), Mercury(Pisces), Neptune(Sagittarius)

Aren't T-squares indicators of natural talent? Many prominent people have T-Squares in their charts, sometimes multiple ones.

I got a feeling next year will be better than this year. In numerology, 2011 for me is a personal year of 7 which is a natural match to my 5 lifepath.

This year has been kind of toxic since it was a personal year of 6 and all of the hard astrological aspects made things less enjoyable.

North Node(Capricorn), Sun(Aries), Part of Fortune(Cancer)

Mutable T-Square

Mid Heaven is not considered in T Square
NN and PF are not considered in T Square
Neptune's orb is too wide

Chiron is also not taken in traditional sense, but I'd consider Uranus, Moon and Chiron as T Square; Chiron being strongly placed/aspected.
