Paranormal Phenomenon or My Imagination?

Several minutes after I awoke this morning, my eyes wandered to the set of Nancy Drew books on the shelf in my room and I remembered an odd experience I had several years ago in which the numerical order of the books was unexpectedly reversed. I am not sure exactly what prompted me to ask this horary question at this time, but I wish to know if the movement of these book resulted from some physical action I have long forgotten or paranormal phenomenon. I truly believed at the time that the spirit of my grandmother, who had given these books to me while she was still alive, was letting her presence be known...yet although I am still inclined to believe this, my Virgo South Node wishes to know for certain if I have been indulging myself in wishful thinking.

Any help with interpreting this horary chart would be greatly appreciated :)

I believe I am signified by twelfth house Venus in Libra, which is unaspected using 50% orb settings except for a minor aspect to Saturn and a trine to Chiron. However, it is my understanding that horary astrologers do not commonly use minor aspects or outer bodies/asteroids/centaurs in their interpretations, so may remain an unaspected Venus. I chuckled when I discovered that Mars is almost exactly conjunct the Ascendant in this chart; as Missa mentioned on another thread, I seem to have a knack for receiving Aries indicators!

Mercury in Scorpio also occupies the first house, and similiar to Venus, it is unaspected except for a quintile to Saturn and a tight square to Chiron. Perhaps I should consider using Chiron in this chart with its connections to both Venus and Mercury...?

I have also experienced episodes of paranormal activity for which I spent many years searching for a scientific explanation. Several weeks after my mother died, just after we had gone to dad's house to clear out her belongings I experienced a very vivid situation that very night.

I had claimed a number of personal items such as perfumes and other momentos which I had set up as a sort of shrine on top of my dresser. The following morning I woke up immediately knowing that something was amiss. Scattered all about on my bedspread were a bunch of pencils, which seemed to have been randomly 'thrown upon me'. As I sat up I immediately noticed that the drawer of my bedside table was slightly open --- when I looked inside I found the perfume bottle placed in there which had previously been on the dresser. [interestingly the perfume was 'forget me not'.

Then I noticed there were some items missing from the dresser top and when I went to check it out, again the bottom drawer was slightly ajar and certain items had been placed carefully in there! The remaining items on top of the dresser had been moved about and some things were knocked over. It was very bizarre. What has kept my attention on this incident for many years is the fact that the upsets overall did not seem totally random, but rather more carefully re-arranged in symbolic ways.

There have been other examples of paranormal experiences in my life but none so intense as that one was. I do believe!

How spooky that I'm reading this and watching haunted hotels on the travel channel. We had a quiet "ghost" in our old house. He was pretty harmless, although I still blame him for tampering with the water meter, imagine my shock when I got an $1,800 water bill! The water company came out and all the guy kept saying was "there's something screwy going on here". They adjusted the bill because they had no explanation as to why the last few reads were fluctuating up and down and the meter was not physically tampered with or broken. A couple of months ago, I was just getting into bed, I had my head down for just a couple of minutes and I heard a child singing next to my husband, At first I thought it was my daughter and how did she sneak in here, but as I listened I realized it was NOT my daughter and I picked up my head so fast, the singing stopped abruptly. I did a horary on it but couldn't read it well. I definatly was not sleeping and of course my husband didn't hear a thing.

I'm hard of hearing but occasionally hear odd things in my bad ear. That's when I know it's paranormal because it sounds perfectly normal. Our home is frequently disturbed by a variety of things. We've experienced multiple apports, my wife has seen an apparition as well my older kids have seen a few and I've seen the result of a discarnate sitting on my son's bed. Stuff Happens. Sometimes normal folks see it and often gifted folks see and hear even more. The soul is eternal according to many world views. These things shouldn't surprise so many folks but give comfort to those who need it.
