Hi , Are Grand crosses always bad? Also I have a YOD . Here is my chart .

I wouldn't say that you have a grandcross, there are no planets close enough to each other to form a cross.

I can't seem to find your yod, where do you think it is? Can you point it out to me?

Also, from what I have observed on the forums, most astrologers do not include the major angles (i.e. Ascendant/Descendant and Midheaven/Nadir) as points of a configuration. Therefore, your Leo Midheaven would not form a Fixed Cross with your first house Neptune in Scorpio, third house Moon in Aquarius, and seventh house Jupiter in Taurus--although it appears to do so in the chart you posted.

I am using Win star express and the planets that are indicated to make up the grand cross are moon , venus , jupiter , neptune.
The Yod's planets are sun , mars and jupiter
The settings are paladius, standard aspects , geocentric .

If this is not correct , I wonder why ? I have read that this program is one of the best. Is there something that I am missing in the settings?

There is no way that a yod could exist between sun, mars and jupiter in our chart.

It basically consists of 2 planets 60 deg apart (sextile) with a third 150 deg from the other two. I wouldn't even pay a sextile between sun and mars - too wide apart.

As for grand cross, the planets are too far apart. I would not consider jupiter and neptune to be in opposition as the planets are too far apart - 11 degrees! I would also consider moon and venus too far apart for an opposition - 8 degrees. You would have a moon-neptune square (3 deg apart) and maybe a venus-neptune square (5 degrees), some might not consider that an aspect though. You just might scrape in with a t-square of these planets but I really would not consider it as a moon-venus are too far apart for an opposition.

Grand crosses reprezents a problem and lesson in life which it must be learn. It's stressful, but gives you great experience and personal evolution if you try to handle it.

I believe I talked the karmical predispositions about grand crosses ( mystic squares ) with Shining Ray ( Miss Saturn ) on a thread.

Also judging by the houses, it seems your grand cross, even so the segment below it's a bit deteriorated, it still has the influence.

The first one is on 1st house which reprezents the question of " What? ", " What I must do? "

You have big ambitions, dreams and wishes. You want a lot but sometimes you need to learn to be more practical, modest and humble. Also you need to be deatached of your illusions, Neptune there can give great ideals, but not all are real. Also it show's you need to be very humble and forgiving in life and to learn the lessons of detachment, acceptation, compasion, spirituality and to love without asking in return.

Another is at 7th house which reprezents the question of " Where to? ", " Where I must go? ", " What path I must take? ", " Where to "

Bieng Jupiter there, it reprezents you need to have high understanding, a good moral personal motivation, respecting the law of the spiritual valor of life, lots of faith and religious beliefs, expansive and optimistic open-mind, good ideea to read and learn philosphy or anything wise that can teach you something high in a spiritual way. You may become skeptic and stuntborn, that you need to fix it by learning a small lesson of material deatachment, bringing balance like spiritualization of the material.

Another segment is at M.C/10th house which brings the question of " Why? "

Because this will make you more gregarious, more dignified, more noble and more generous. People will start to see you in a very good view and that will make you proud. Your destiny will have a more elevated level which brings you peace and happiness in life.

The last segment is at I.C/4th house which brings the question of " How? "

I already telled above what to do in the 7th house segment. But this has an answer too, you need to be open with others, you need to learn how to self-sacrafice for the ones you love or the others and to give without asking in return, this means altruism and universal understanding. You might have events in life that will make you resolve them because of delays, frustations and restrictions, that will stimulate you to search different ways of gain your goals and solve your problems. Therefor giving you more experience in life by discipline and efforts.

I downloaded the Win Star Express 30 day trial. I plugged in my birth data and then I saw choices of the standard wheel , unequal house , euro wheel and Aries 0 degree. Also there is a button for aspects and it works with my natal data input. There is also a chart data box with a great deal of information referencing the many dimentions in a chart and I know less about those :confused: than I do about aspects of which I know next to nothing :eek: ! Chart patterns are among the choices and this is where I saw the configs.
There seem to be patterns of the geocentric , and then patterns of the helicentric.

I really don't know what I'm doing and am just starting to learn. :)

I am finding Astrology , like many things that are life reality to be rich , complex multi dimentional , multi layered.
I am enjoying myself because all that I have been learning in life is all inter related from vast areas of life making for a grand view that causes a sense of wonder and awe.

I ran my chart in a few other programs including Configuration Hunter and I didn't see any configurations except for a T-Square .. So perhaps the Win Star settings are set wrong ?

On the other hand thought I Also ran my son Ians chart and he still comes out with 5 Grand Trines , 1. being Mars , Jupiter , Uranus 2. Sun Jupiter Uranus 3.Mercury Jupiter Uranus 4. Venus Jupiter Uranus 5. Mars Jupiter Neptune. 4 Kite Configs of
Sun ,moon, Jupiter Uranus , Moon, Mercury ,Jupiter, Uranus Moon , Mars Jupiter Uranus .. Moon Venus Jupiter Uranus.
Along with these are 4 T minors with all the same planets.
Are these just repeats ? or are these actual configs ??

I have ordered some books but I am very curious as well as anxious to know . I have searched the web and most of the sites I come across are the standard info and I would like to learn about it in more depth.

Also is there a method of aspecting a natal that most Astrologers don't use but apparently I have mistakenly set on Win Star that would give me the results that I got such as the Grand cross , yod ?

It's interesting .
Money material things have never held anywhere near primary in my life due to I knew very early in life that the things that I need can't be bought. Nor can the things that money buy distract me from the things I need. This I assure you is by no virtue that I elected but the thrills and highs that come with material , money shopping failed to generate these feelings for me.
I have always been more inclined to the spiritual side it far more interesting and fit more with my life. I find philosophy great fun as well and frankly can't really see the difference between the two.
What is intriguing about your interpt is that the generations prior to me up till my Mom on her side were very wealthy and the grand illusion of Blue Blood snobbery , old money ensuring a position of prestige despite underhanded behavior was a belief held by a few in the family line. Eventually all the misery caught up cause and effect Truth be known. I have great empathy for them though because while I may have wallowed in a different pool of muck then they the core motivators of fear , low self esteem are one and the same . Weather you endure your misery in a stately palace or in the dregs of the bowery makes little differnce,
