Hello all,

I have recently begun "dissecting" my Birth Chart. Obviously, it's a lot to take in, and I have a few questions.

My Chart (image/text) (http://www.stormy-cloud.net/wendy/my%20chart.jpg)

Planet Positions (text) (http://www.stormy-cloud.net/wendy/planet%20positions.jpg)

*1- In the planet positions chart, I'm having trouble understanding the houses; particularly the ones listed on the right side of the graph, and how/if they pertain to me. Because they conflict somewhat with those to the left of the graph, and there are signs in that graph, where there are not signs in my chart. (ie- in my chart, I show no planets or signs in houses 3, 5, or 7, and my True Node/Mean Node is in house 6, and Chiron is in house 4. No signs or planets.) So what is this exactly??

*2- And on my chart, what is this MC = Scorpio? I think I understand the Ascendent and Descendant, but I don't get the IC and MC. Also, are the Descendant and North Node the same thing?

edit// one more question!! :X

*3- Which comes first in the Aspect chart, the left side of the chart, or the or the top, horizontal...
example, My Aspects. (http://www.stormy-cloud.net/wendy/aspects.bmp)

I hope my questions are coherent! Any help would be much appreciated!!

Obviously I'm some kind of a novice too, but I can help on something: MC is your Midheaven:
It's from Astro.com

The Midheaven (MC)

The Midheaven shows you where you go in life. It is an important element in your horoscope because it can help you to find out what you want to do in life rather than merely how you do it. The sign of the Midheaven helps you to identify what you need to do with your life in order to grow.

The Midheaven does not only show you your general goals in life, but also the best way to find a career. Depending on the career you choose, you take a certain position in society. In this way, the Midheaven and planets in the tenth house tell you more about the social stand you want to take.

The more experienced astrologers on the website will probably help you with the rest of it, I'm quite sure ;)

Well, the links didn't work, but I'll give whatever answer I can...

The North Node is the North Node of the Moon... it is not the Descendant. The Descendant is the 7th house cusp. The North Node concerns karma and the 7th house cusp (just a sec and I can explain houses briefly) concerns partnership (all sorts), marriage, and the self in relation to others. Do you have the North Node on your 7th house, is that why you asked that?

Ok... houses. I don't know how clear my explanation will be... Houses show -where- stuff in happening in a chart... such as the second house is about physical possessions (movable ones, not real estate), money, and spending. So if you have Jupiter in the second house (as an example), you could have a lot of money or perhaps spend a lot of money (ha, there is a distinct difference there). The house cusps are where the houses start. So your Ascendant is the start of your 1st house, the Descendant is the 7th house cusp. MC is Midheaven or Medium Coeli and IC is Imum Coeli.

I don't quite understand your third question... (and it doesn't help that the link doesn't work). Do you mean in an aspectarian (the spreadsheet looking thing with aspects)?
