First of all, thank you for all who have provided astrological fertility information, and the hope it extends.

Like the good Virgo that I am, I have been "timing" our attempts applying the Jonas method (having been convinced of its authenticity when I backtracked and found that the conception of my 16-year-old son took place exactly as described.) At the same time I have ruled out a number of medical causes and with the help of three terrific M.D.s am being treated for an adrenal disorder. My mate was diagnosed with and had corrective surgery for relevant varicose veins.

I would appreciate input from anyone experienced in this process...is there anything else I should look at? I have the projected times per the moon for the next couple of years but would welcome any additional information or recommendations. My DOB is 08/23/1961, 12:32 p.m., New London, CT. My mate's is 11/18/1962, 7:02 p.m. Milwaukee, WI.

Thank you so much for the response.

We have tracked luteal phases, used the ovulation predictor kits, and even taken ovulation-inducing drugs over the last three years in our attempts, in addition to the previously mentioned trips to the doctor(s) and diagnostic tests. It's fairly disheartening, especially for my Scorpio, who is only half-heartedly trying at this point, as he is convinced we are just "too old." I keep trying to combine good science with good karma and intuition, exercise, nutrition and prayer. I have always wanted another child, and my spouse has longed for one all of his life. We had both separately pretty much given up until we fell in love six years ago.

Your response mentioned the following: "The Sun/Moon angle and mid-point, the Asc/Mc mid-point and any planets natally placed or transiting the antiscia or contra antiscia of these points and your natal moon are also essential." Could you expand on this, if you have time? I have been "timing" our attempts (though certainly not only then...our love life has not yet become a laboratory experiment) according to the returned monthly phase of the moon in my birth chart. I didn't know there were other things I should be looking for. I've been more than a little frustrated at how few astrologers have any experience or interest in this. Surely I'm not the only person searching for an answer.

Does anyone have any other suggestions or references, reading material, etc.? Time cannot be recaptured and every month that goes by is more lost opportunity. I do believe knowledge is power, so please share if you have some. And if you have none, then please pray for this Virgo and this Scorpio. We so want to add to our family, and to have a sibling for my Cancer son.
