Hoarding Behavior

The Scorpio Moon is applying to a conjunction with Jupiter in the second house--a clear indicator of how I have an emotional need (the Moon) to accumulate possessions (second house), even to the point of excess (Jupiter) to appease an obsession (Scorpio). Even before I properly studied this chart, I detected that there must be some strong Virgoan influence because my obsession lies with organizing every personal message that is currently in my filled inbox. Indeed, with Libra Rising, I am signified by Venus in Virgo, which is located in the twelfth house. At least I am now aware of this behavior...;)

EDIT: I just realized that my significator is almost exactly conjunct the South Node! This is odd, because when I formulated this question, I was thinking about the description of my Virgo South Node in Jan Spiller's Astrology for the Soul...

Hey Arian!

I do see something here.

The Venus significator and the two T-Squares ( one on fixed and one on mutable ) show's your hoarding behavior.
Those two T-Squares are perfect and show's where you can corect it's influence.

In the chart below, you see two arrows, that's the opposite of the T-Squares and the place where you can corect your behavior.

How does it work?

Well let's see the problem first.
These two T-Squares show's a lot:

The first one is on fixed sign ( Saturn on Leo, Moon with Jupiter on Scorpio and Neptune at Aquarius ).

This show's possesive atachment and you should learn not to fear lossing what you posses and what you want in life. Jupiter the sign of exces and expanding, show's you should learn deatachment, acceptation, compasion, spirituality and to love and give without asking in return.

The energy to which the T-Square show's an escape, is on 8th house ( see the arrow ) on Taurus. This shows you need a tranformation and learn to find inner serenity and peace, stability and to not fear any material loss. This also shows your interess of metaphysical and astrology which is realy ideal cause it makes you more disciplined and more spiritual.

The second one is on mutable sign ( Venus on Virgo, Pluto on Sagitaurus, and North Node on Pisces )

This show's that your real tranformation is by bieng generous and giving with asking in return. ( again ). Also show's you need a bit self-sacrafice, modest and humble acting in life.

Having the view of bieng very altruistical will restrain your hoarding behavior.

The arrow show's 9th house on Gemeni, it's the house of religion, high spiritual and ideal beliefs, books, voyages, freedom etc. This means bieng very optimistical and not fearing any deatachments will bring you joy and hapiness in a spiritual way.

If you ask me, at your natal chart, in Gemeni you seem to have Jupiter, odd coincidence, cause the arrow show's Gemeni and 9th house ( Jupiter's house ).
This show's if you give, in time you going to be rewarded with double, triple or even more. This means thats a very good idea to give donation or gifts to churches, asylums ,to poor etc. It's just an idea, but you will fell good when you do that and also shrinks your hoarding behavior.

This is one of my ideas, let's see what the other's think.

As my natal Jupiter in Gemini may indicate, I am mostly guilty of hoarding magazines and computer files because I have a fear of losing information--no matter how trivial it may be!

Unfortunately, my study of astrology has only exasperated this problem; I have pages upon pages of Word documents containing natal data, unasked horary questions, Sabian Symbol Q&A, Live Chat session recordings, unfinished posts, nearly every private message I have ever sent/received, countless images of natal charts, horary charts, event charts, etc.

Arian, where do you think your greater security in subconscious lie?

What knowledge can there be, that is greater than the last, and what good can it really do for you, lest you apply it somehow? You can recycle these bits and pieces all you want, but you see it becomes more of a... reminder crutch? Knowledge is power for the unknown, yes, but experience is a whole different thing. Try getting rid of the things that no longer is useful for you. What to keep, what aspects of yourself to purge for renewal, and what can help as a catalyst for these things? :) I know you have Pluto in 8th, it could be quite a natural thing?

Same here, but I have something worse.

My computer is full of astrology documents and notes, but i'm always in a hurry for no reason and cannot think of any names, so I sometimes put fgdsdfgdfg.txt; htrhtrhtr.txt; sdadsdfsdf.txt; zzzzzz1.doc; test100.doc etc and after a few weeks I say " What are these strange documents for??? silly names !!! Where are those astrological documents I written few weeks ago ?"

Bless you, Arian, you are a sweet kid. You are both venus/significator and venus/ruler of 8th. Yet you are posited in the 12th. The reasons for storing all this **** are hidden from you. You will have to work to figure out why, but you may not succeed. Instead, have a friend help you make two or thee simple rules about what stays and what goes, then have him/her help you weed your posessions.

Being the victim of obsession myself, I know doing this is VERY hard, but you need to do it once a month to keep things under control and to develop a new habit pattern.Then you will get anxious to do it on time every month. Good luck- I know you are a stronger woman than I am.
