Hi Guys. I could really use some help here. I currently own a large business that is killing me. The money is very good, but the stress is unbearable. (think stresss induced depression and health problems) I've been in it almost seven years and I think it's time to go. I think I can sell it for something and I have a very promising job offer on the table. I'm a cancer so I have a hard time letting go of things, but I this is killing me. I've just come throught Saturn in cancer over the last 2 years and that was the most difficult period. Can some please help me with this decision? Please note that whoever offers advice on this will be helping me with a life decision.

Hi Zuko,

I wanted to post since no one has responded to your Big Question.

You gave your birth information. For Horary, we need your question and the time, date and where you are to answer it.

If you are looking for input into your birth chart, you might want to try the Natal & Predictive Astrology thread.

Hope that helps! Good luck with everything!

The time was about 11:00 am.

Zuko,
you are supposed to be very specific about the time and place in which the question was asked. 'About 11 am', is not an ideal response, as if it was 10:57 or 11:03, this could make all the difference to your reading. However, I also believe in synchronicity, and perhaps it is meant that I was to determine the time of the question as 11 am, if this is the time which you feel is significant. If the time is wrong, the chart would seem to indicate this anyway, as I learned in one of my previous interpretations for myself in which, due to the early rising degree it indicated I was asking the question too early. This is no wonder, since I had typed in the wrong date, putting the 25th instead of 26th! So I'll have a look at the chart:
The rising degree is at Libra 16, so its the right time to be asking your question as we are at the middle of a sign, and it is a good time to be making exchanges (Libra). This means you are Venus, in Libra/12th. Venus at home in Libra shows you are operating in an environment that suits your needs for adjustment, mutual agreement and the making of an amicable deal. Venus in the 12th, however, shows that you have certain reservations about selling your business, as it is so private and personal to you, that regardless of any financial return, to sell would be a sentimental loss of sorts. The 12th house is also the house of traps and institutions, meaning your business environment is becoming confining and restrictive, hastening your desire to sell. Another significator of you is Jupiter, due to conjunction with the ascendant. This shows that you have fortune on your side, you are confident and optimistic, and with Jupiter in Venuses term, there is no reason good fortune shouldnt come your way.
For your business I look to the 2nd cusp (possessions/property/income) and see that your business is signified by Mars as Scorpio rules the 2nd house. Mars in Taurus is not operating in an environment which suits its needs, you are but the business is not. Mars seeks to be more active than its slow and heavy Taurean environment will allow. Taurus is fixed and earthy, so it is a static, stationary and idle place, whereas Mars needs to be on the go.Therefore it suggests the business has not been as productive as it needs to be, and perhaps this is why you want to sell. With Mars in Venuses sign and term, it shows that the business, if not doing well, is in its current predicament due to strictures which you have set yourself.
As I only usually consider the Moons last aspects to the outer planets as a secondary consideration, the Moon is void of course. To me this suggests that you don't really want to sell your business or that it is not a good idea to do so. If we do consider Pluto as the last aspect, Pluto is retrograde in the 3rd. Pluto means 'rich one' and in retrograde, his pockets are emptied thus it would be a financially unsound decision to put your business up for sale, perhaps because it may not sell. Based upon the chart I would advise that you stick with yur current business and sort out whatever it is that the business requires or order to give it a boost and get it working the way it should be. If my interpretaton was of significance, I suggest the next question should be: 'How can I get my business working the way it should?', perhaps? The theme is that you ought to stick with the business and develop it further.

Draco,

Thank you very much.....I'm new to astrology overall, but Horary is a different animal it seems. This is difficult and I'm getting mixed messages to a certain extent, but my inclination is to sell and run like hell. I begining to understand that being free (from stress, anxiety and constant fear of loss) supercedes monetary reward. Your assistance is very much appreciated.

Hi there,

What nature of business are you currently in if you don't mind to share? I can understand the stress involved in running a business. Have you thought of delegating some of the tasks to trustworthy partners/employess to reduce the level of involvment and thus relieving some stress amount? I understand many of the entrepreneurs have problems delegating tasks as they are so used to be a starter and want to get involved in every aspects of the business.. the is the true entrepreneurial spirit but to be everything to everyone can be very stressful. Wishing you your heart's desires and be happy with which ever decision you made. All the best!

I would refrain from indicating the type of business because it could possibly compromise my identity here in the forum. Not that I'm spiderman or anything but it's a small industry and everyone in this town (within our industry) knows me. I will say that it's the nature of the business that perpetuates stress. Liability from a legal standpoint is a large part of it. My industry is currently in transition in such a way that many of my competitors have already been run out of business. (think witch hunt) That may sound good for business, but many of them were unfairly ostricized. I have given this much thought and there is really no way to keep the business and reduce the stress level at the same time. If I can sell I would be able to go out on top and cash out on my investment. If I keep it, I run the risk of dying from a heart attack at 40 or being pushed out by increasing liability. Sorry for the long answer to a short question but It helps me to reinforce (or rationalize I suppose) my impending decision.

I hear you on that. A stress free lifestyle. I ran a profitable business but it collasped due to some trust matters in the emotional area. How one runs a business reflects very much on a person's personalities. I wasn't able to handle stress well and was way too emotionally attached easily. I fell badly and affected not only self but my family as well. I'm packing myself up and trying to start all over again. Stress management is one thing I have to constantly learn. Another is to stay as logical as possible, do not ever let emotions to lead me and this is very difficult for me which I do not know if I can ever master it in this life time. lol I do not think you would have any financial worries since your business is profitable, it is not a bad idea to take a step back and relax and enjoy your life without the drudgery of work. Recharged. I wish you all the best!

Hi,
Your saturn is at 6 degrees of Taurus and Saturn transiting, at 6 Leo has been squareing it in transit. Saturn square is a difficult, if not depressing, period, overwork, You may not be happy in your profession, but to make a change during a dark period in the valley, in my view, would be a mistake. Better wait, till you would be more positive, and if your business, is as solid, as you say it is-who knows-you could get an even better price.

Richard Nixon said;"You will not appreciate the peaks until you have been in hte valleys."
