Hey friends!
In January, I'm moving from a tiny town in NJ to Boston, MA to attend a college of music. My question is: How will I fit/adjust into this new lifestyle?

Does any one of you friendly folk have an idea of how to approach this chart?
I would sneak up behind it with the lights off....little humor there.

Jen,
Moving itself is ruled by the 9th house, but you asked how well you would fit in your new lifestyle. I don't know if a specific house rules lifestyles. I think we need to consider many different houses. Obviously, we would consider the 9th for the moving itself and the education you'll be getting. But I also think that we should consider the 11th because it rules your hopes and wishes and also the network of friends and acquaintances that you'll form there. What complicates it even more is that I think that the 11th house should be turned to show the "new" network as opposed to your current one.
This sounds just too complicated, so I'll just assess your significator, the Moon and the final lunar aspect.
It's strange to see your significator to be miserable Saturn in both essential and accidental dignities. You've been talking about this thing for months now. I wonder why this chart makes you look more negatively anxious about it that positively looking forward to it. Well, I suppose I could get a hint from the dispositor. A planet in detriment doesn't like its dispositor. Let's see what it is that you don't like. Saturn is disposited by the Sun. The Sun rules the 7th house in this chart and is located in it. The Sun naturally rules men in general and authority. It also rules creativity and ego. Are you worried about close relationships? Are you worried you may not meet the standards of creativity there? Are you worried may have trouble with authority there? I cannot guess. You need to figure it out on your own.
The Moon, as a co-significator of you and the question is also in Leo and applying to Saturn by a conjunction. Before it does that however, it'll perfect an opposition with Neptune Rx in the 12th house. What the heck does that mean? Both Neptune and the 12th house rule illusion and deception, but they also rule artistic talents and spirituality. I hope they're not signifying tendencies of self undoing or depression.
The final lunar aspect in this sign is a trine with Pluto in the 10th house, public life/image.
I think you have groundless worries. I'm guessing that you're stressed out by close personal issues that you may or desire to deal with before you leave, but when you get there things will turn out ok even if you have to struggle a bit. I don't know if that answers the question of fitting in, but it does show that you'll end up with a smooth thing going for you there.
Good luck.

Hey Sore,
I'm anxious to go because it is a very expensive move (and I'm not made of money lol). I'm just worried that if I'm stressed about finances or my personal life, I won't be able to create any of my music...which is the point of going to a school such as this. Besides, this will be the very first time I'll be out and on my own. I'm also notable for my tendancies to look more at the negative side of a situation. But maybe the neptune influence you speak of is my feeling that I hope I'm not kidding myself by going through with this huge change in my life.
I'm just a natural worrywort at times! But going to this school is something I have to do. I owe it to myself.
