But everyone's got a story, right? Anyway, I dunno how I landed here, but I'm delighted I found you! A student of astrology for more years than I want to say (at the moment), I've used it as a tool to understand myself, the people around me, and the world and times I live in. I very much look forward to participating in this community! (Thanks to the Administrators who manage the site.)

MSO: to your question - Pisces is rising at 12 degrees, tightly trining Sun, Merc, Venus in 8th and also Uranus in 4th. (What does MSO mean? Big hairy cat guy? lol!
Eh Team: love your avatar! Soooo Leo - as was lovely Mae West!
Tamara: now THAT'S interesting! Is your Moon conjunct Pluto? (Mine is - exact.) So, we have a nice mutual reception going on - Sun rules Leo, Pluto rules Scorpio. I dated a guy with Leo Sun/Scorpio Moon. Intense. Absolute magic. Great while it lasted.
Serafin: thank you!

lacellrien: Whoa! I'll bet you present intensity, mystery and reserve!

My daughter (Cancer Sun) has Pluto conjunct her Libra Ascendant, and lovely (think Audrey Hepburn) and charming as she appears upon meeting her, one also sees a no-nonsense, take-no-prisoners personality. (Her dad has Scorpio rising.)

Where's your Sun?

welcome! i'm also a triple scorpio... i think. pluto/ mars/ saturn all in scorpio in the first house with pluto conj. my asc.

Now correct me if I'm wrong but I always thought that when someone said they were a "double" or "triple" this or that they were refering to Sun/Moon/Asc. Please let me know. However lacell, that's still a lot of Scorpio!

Blessings, a fellow Scorpio Rising.

I also have understood that if one has any two or three of the Luminaries plus the Ascendant in a particular sign, the "double" or "triple" label is applied.

I may be stretching that rule of thumb with my username, though I do feel it's legit what with my Sun, Merc & Venus in Scorpio – and in Scorpio's house (8th).

Hmmm, I say 3x leo, because it is sun, moon and asc, but I also have Venus with it, in the 1st house. So I guess I could say 4x Leo.

My husband has Sun/moon/Venus in Gemini and maybe asc? So he 'could' say 3x Gemini, or 4x, if his asc lined up as well.

I just say 2xGemini because the 'big 3' always seem to be sun, moon, asc.
I just figured, if we could Venus, why don't we count Mars if it happens to fall with the sun/moon.

Howdy and welcome to a most excellent forum.
We kind of mirror one another...I've aTaurus Sun opp Scorpio Asc....Aquarian Moon opp Pluto conj. M.C./Part of Fortune Leo... Pluto in Leo...we can be pretty demanding of transformation [change] in people...we can be tough to be around.

You may have something there. With the Leo Moon/Pluto conjunction in the 6th, I tend to find, expose, and transform problems in the workplace. The trick has been to learn to use diplomatic persuasion, and not take it personally when things don't work out when and how I think they should. Still learning ... ;)

I'm curious: how does the Moon/Pluto opposition work for you? And how do you feel the Sun opposite your Ascendant manifests in your personality. (Is it in the 6th or 7th?)

Dear "Pierce":
You have a really cool chart; lots of "fixed" energy. With all these fixed signs do you have a Grand Crosse goin on?

I read somewhere that whenever you have a Taurus with moon or Asc. Scorp or a Scorp with moon or Asc. Taurus, the personality is very strong; meaning you're a 'mountain mover'! I imagine with your Leo thrown in there you probably have a nasty temper too! (As in "speak softly and carry a big stick").

Dear Pierce:

I totally agree with that; I've always counted the Asc. in everything. I've always felt that my Scorp Asc. is just as much a part of my personality as my Pisces Sun or my Taurus Moon.:kissing:

I love that you are an "old hippie"; I basically am a "love-child" right out of the 60's with 2 hippie parents (now gone:crying:).

So how is it with that Grand Crosse? Not easy I'll bet.

Lots o' hugs - Serafin5:smile:

Gotta tell you Pierce, that because my mom had me so young, many of her friends became my friends and they're ALL gone now; very few lived past their 40's.:crying: Yes, drugs have been a factor; we both come from tough generations, especially you as you guys are the mavericks.

This whole issue of death and dying has been heavy upon my heart starting 1989; since that year it's been like a domino effect. I almost didn't cope at first but like you have changed my entire way of seeing EVERYTHING and am looking with spiritual eyes now. I not sure if having a Scorping Rising has to do with losing so many loved ones; 2007 I lost my old man to cancer. Now I'm obsessed with watching Ghost Hunters!:smile:Ha ha!

So sorry to hear about your losses too, Pierce.:crying: Sounds like you've been doing hard core studying and I'm sure you've been to this planet before you remind one of an 'old soul'.

May your Higher Power bless you!

As usual, I'm long on ideas and short on time, but I do want to get back here soon to throw out a few thoughts about some of the comments posted here that are so very much up my alley. 'S nice to find others with strong Scorpio/Pluto influences who feel comfortable talking about their own experiences with death and dying, spirit and soul, change and transformation ... Glad I found you! (And how perfect is this? My progressed Moon in Scorpio just moved into the 8th house.)
