Why is Radu Absent from the Forums?

This question has floated through the back of my mind for the past several days, as Radu is normally quite punctual in responding to my private messages. However, I have not seen him on the forums lately and I am becomming a bit concerned.

Note: This question was initially phrased as "What's wrong with Radu?" but I believe the title of this thread better articulates the nature of my question.

Hey Arian,

Well that's a pressing question. The chart says late ascendant and void of course moon. Together, I believe these factors to indicate that the question need not, or cannot, be answered at the moment. Either we (or you) already have, or soon will have, sufficient information; or the question is not relevant because the outcome is as you expect it to be??

You could also apply all of those other void of course responses we have seen on the forum. 'Nothing will come of it', it is 'as you expected', or hopefully even 'you have nothing to worry about' :)

Beyond that, I wouldn't really know where to start, because I'm not sure who Radu is to you :) Does he just belong to the friend house, or is your relationship with him a little different (just guessing here - something more like a mentor?). Or, is the significant thing that he is missing (a 12H issue) rather than who he is to you...these things I don't know! Also, I'm not clear regarding which house the 'forum' belongs to. Are we a group of friends, a social organisation, a place of communication, a place of spiritual study??

Don't be concerned by Mars right there on the ascendant. I noticed it but then thought hey, it's probably just describing the querent, a super-douper Aries ;)

I'm no horary astrologer but I'd say the forum is the 11th because it is the "Astrologers' Community" and it is electronic.

Because he is the leader of the group, he might be what is represented by 1st, aries, mars etc.

But then again, a relationship analysis is required to determine with Radu is to AM

So much says that the chart is unfit for judgement, but I'll take the VOC is a semi-good sign that nothing out of the ordinary will happen; that he's ok. I think the 11th house rules Radu, and it's ruler (Sun) separates from an opposition with Uranus Rx. It's possible that Radu had some "unexpected" obstacles that kept him from logging on his web accounts. It is possible that they are technology related problems.

Also, the Sun is received and anti-received by Jupiter and Venus, primary and exaltations rulers respectively of his turned 8th, where Uranus is (yikes! Wonder what that means). Venus rules his turned 11th (bringing us back to technology issues) and Jupiter rules his turned 6th (daily services, routine).

Yeah, it's either a technology related unexpected problem or a friend's unexpected problem (11th and Uranus also rule friends).

I suppose that, when Radu manages to get back online, he'll tell us all about it. It will be a good chance to see of late ASC/ VOC Moon charts can be judged.

These are difficult questions to answer, partially because I do not like to describe relationships if the other person is not here to contribute. However, for the sake of horary astrology, I will say that I communicate with Radu quite frequently outside the forums through instant messaging and we discuss all sorts of things--ideas for forum improvement, different astrological techniques, and sometimes idle chat. So I suppose he would fall under the category of a mentor/friend :)

Freedomlover's recent creation of the thread Next Live Chat? (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?p=19835) has triggered me to ask another horary question related to my first:

When will Radu come back?

Neptune is quite comfortable in the twelfth house, conjuncting the Ascendant from its dark side; Saturn is tightly conjunct the Descendant. Even with the 50% reduced orb settings, a yod configuration is formed between twelfth house Neptune in Aquarius sextile second house Moon in Aries, both inconjunct seventh house Sun in Virgo. Jupiter also tightly conjuncts the ninth house cusp and Pluto conjuncts the eleventh house cusp...

EDIT: Rereading through sorehearted's post, I realized that she used the eleventh house to represent Radu. Should we be concerned that Pluto is conjunct his turned Ascendant? :(

You and the forums are signified by Saturn in Leo. Radu is signified by Jupiter which, interestingly, rules both the 10th (Radu as forum administrator) and the 11th (Radu as a friend).

Jupiter perfects a square with Saturn in 4-5 degrees. Both planets are in fixed signs. I don't know. 4-5 days or 4-5 weeks? The weeks sound really long, but the planets are in fixed signs. The problem is that square actually get frustrated by Neptune and the Moon, so I don't know if it'll work.

The Moon perfects a trine with Saturn in 1-2 degrees. I don't know if that counts for anything.

Let's wait for 4-5 days after your horary and see.

btw.. the Moon trining Neptune which sits on top of the ASC may show some illusions or dellusions. Maybe this means that there's nothing to worry about; that your worries are groundless???

Despite my initial reaction to these words, I certainly hope you are correct in your observation :)

I think I'm just feeling some strain because there have been several situations I wished to consult him about, some more dire than others...

Interestingly enough, Mars has been prominant in several horary charts I have casted lately, yet I had attributed this to describing the querent :D

Let me see... the first horary... "what's wrong with me": if AM considers me just as somebody else, I am represented by the 7th house - ruler Jupiter in Scorpio in the turned 8th house = I am dead -> I don't like this one, then AM considers me as a friend, which fits the situation - I am represented by the Sun (="admin") which just separates from an opposition with Uranus - I had problems getting online - right on, Sorehearted !!!
So, quite "nothing to worry about", just as Howl said.
The late ASC indicates that on a certain level AM knew the cause of my absence, I told her that I was having problems with the internet access (I recently moved to another appartment where the online access was not set, and then a number of factors contributed to delaying that even more).
The planets in the quesited house (11th house), indicate my activities during this time: Venus ruler of the turned 3rd (studying, but not astrology), Saturn ruler of the turned 7th (helping my wife with the baby).

Hello Arian! I looked at the chart relating to your first question: Why is Radu absent? As Radu falls in the 11th and the Sun rules it, we find Radu in the 12th, so only looking at that (because we are not yet asking a time question like in your second question about him), I would think he could be in hospital and because the Sun makes an opposition with Uranus, it could have been a sudden thing, maybe appendicitis???? Who knows. Just an idea. You, being the Ascendant and ruled by Mercury are also found in the 12th which could show that you are kept in the dark about what happened to him. Please correct me if I really see things wrong as I have been studying horary but am still hesitant in the interpretation of it because you have to take so many things in consideration. That's why I try to keep it simple, initially
