Hi, My name's Crimson.
I'm 17, and i have an interest in astrology
(although it can be difficult and slow to learn.)
I've been dream interpreting since middleschool, and have been working with tarot for almost 4 years.
I recently got my chart done, and I'm curious to learn how to interpret it.
(although my math skills aren't exactly up to par...)

Personally, I think seventeen is a great age to begin to study astrology. You are beginning to come into your own, and you possess enough self-understanding to utilize the information you glean from your chart.

Indeed! It's wonderful that you understand that the skill of chart interpretation, like any other meaningful skill, requires time and careful study.

The Spiritual Realm (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=21) board may interest you.

If you got a professional chart drawn, you can upload the image to the forums; if not, you can create your natal chart online for free using Astrodienst (http://www.astro.com/).

It's OK; math only comes into play when you attempt to calculate planetary positions and create a natal chart from scratch. These skills are good to learn, and many astrologers claim that the process of calculation allows them to get a better "feel" for a natal chart, but computers can do most of this work for you!

Hello and welcome to the site~
Learning the planets, houses and trines and squares and etc was a bit slow for me to start. With the fabulous help from people in chat, and a book that I bought on sale. After two weeks of reading, and chatting, I am ready to jump into reading someone elses chart~
Happy Charting~
