Have you ever felt like giving up on Astrology. I have been feeling like this lately, I don't really have the technical skills of an Astrologer. It is not that you necessarily need them because you can easily have computer programs draw the chart up for you. But I think my technical ability is limited and I wonder how much further I can take the subject. I know we all have these doubts at times in whether we can actually interpret a whole chart and not just bits and pieces. How do we bring a chart together which is readable, understandable, and the person you are giving the reading for finds it helpful and can really connect to your interpretation.

I was on the verge of nearly giving up on it. But it always draws me back in. I want to find ways to help myself grow overcome my challenges with using my birth chart as a guide. It was strange this morning I went shopping for a birthday present for my partner and while I was out I looked into the clearance book center. I found a workbook for personal transformation, Astrology for yourself (I find it strange because I am currently having Pluto square my Chart ruler Mercury) and I am looking for this transformation and something to help guide me. I was also looking at asteroids in Astrology something I have never wished to learn before. I wanted more information on Asteroids and how they apply to your life, and this book has a whole section on them. I only thought about learning them early this morning.

Whenever I have wanted information on subjects or issues, books seem to just drift my way. This is possibly due to Mercury Trine Jupiter and Mercury Trine Uranus in my birth chart. I find information on whatever subject I am looking for fairly easy. Or wherever I most need help on. I just seem to be lucky in this area. But I do believe when your ready for transformation or a deeper learning, help seems to gravitate your way. You ask for help and some form of it comes.

So as for Astrology I know it will be with me for the rest of my life. Even when I feel I have explored it all I can, another door opens with a whole new learning experience to begin.

I'm in a rush and I am going to have to give more consideration to your post, Ray, but remember you know heaps more than the common man about astrology and its effects.

I am far from a experienced astrologer and for me, it is interesting to learn something new everyday. My interest might wane at times but I always go back to it. I don't really think about quitting as I enjoy it as a hobby and I don't really put any expectations on myself to learn things by a certain time frame, but rather when I feel like it or think about it.

And when the few times when I do feel down because of lack of knowledge, I think back to the fact that I know more than the common person on the street and how well I know my basic concepts.

I think many of us have similar experiences with astrology, Ray- it always does draw us back. I stll feel like that after 35 years.

I'm interested in the personal trnsformation book you found. As you become familiar with it, please share.

Wise words Shining Ray. Both humanity and astrology are transforming at the same time and there are moments when we just have to back away and look again......from a higher point of view at all this intense unending change.
