View Full Version : Will I Keep My Job?
Hi,
I have asked a horary question today:
"Will I keep my recent job?"
The data are: 20.8.2006, 22:24 pm (19:24 GMT), 34e46, 32n04.
ASC in Taurus at 5 degrees 38 minutes 40 seconds.
Venus (me) is applying to cojunct Saturn (ruler of the 10th house = career) so I suppose this could give an optimistic answer.
Part of Fortune is in the 2nd house (Gemini). Mercury (ruler of the 2nd house) is in 4th house in Leo. Mercury (in Leo)is in a separating conjunction with Venus (in Leo, in the 4th house, ruler of the 1st house)) and at the same time Mercury (in Leo, in the 4th house, ruler of the 2nd house) is in 0 degree applying conjunction with Saturn (in Leo,in he 4th house, ruler of the 10th house).
Did I interpret this horary chart correctly?

OK.
First of all, the Moon is VOC. This means status quo; nothing changes and the expected will take place. I know that your current status is having this job, but is there's anything in the current status that makes you expect to lose the job rather than keep it?
We may carefully try to look at the placements of the significators. I say, "carefully", because charts with VOC Moon should be judged with caution.
It's true that your significator, Venus, is casting a conjunction on Saturn, the ruler of the radix 10th house. However, Mercury, the significator of your colleagues (6th house) is casting a partile conjunction on Saturn, beating Venus to perfecting the aspect. This qualifies as frustration giving a no answer. And even if the aspect wasn't frustrated, you must understand that a conjunction is a somewhat stressful aspect. If Venus had the chance to perfect its aspect with Saturn without frustration, the answer would have been "yes, but with difficulty and stress". Saturn itself in such great debility shows that this job is not very beneficial for you.
Nonetheless, you still get your final answer from the VOC Moon. What is your current stutas, i.e. the current situation and most expected results?
Hi Sorehearted,
thank you, my situation is that they are satisfied with me, the problem is that the war has influenced also the sales and the results generally this month were not so good.
I was doing quite well until this month. I think the VOC Moon might say that due to the circumstances they will not make such a big deal out of it - so therefore it stays status quo, in other situation (without any war interfering) the frustration of the Venus Saturn conjunction by my co-workers would be considered more seriously.
What do you think the Part of Fortune in the 2nd house might say? (The ruler of the 2nd is also Mercury.)
I have looked up some more explanations about the Moon Void of Course and it says that if the VOC Moon is in Cancer - it can still perform.(???) Now I see it says that the VOC Moon in Cancer performs only if the chart generally looks promising, this chart without the VOC Moon is more pessimistic than optimistic, so I do not think in this chart the VOC Moon in Cancer does perform.
Another question - do you use the more modern or do you stick with the more traditional interpretation of the VOC Moon?
