I don't get Juno at all. I understand that it's what you *need* vs. what you initially *desire* (Venus/Mars) in a relationship. Someone also told me that people usually marry people with the same, or opposite, Juno sign. Is that true? If my Juno is Cancer, would I be happy with a person with Juno in Capricorn vs. someone with Juno in Cancer, Pisces, or Scorpio? If Juno is what people need, then how can they be happy when it conflicts with what they *desire* (Venus/Mars)? I've been told that I'm lucky because my Mars and Juno are both Cancer. Speaking of Venus and Mars. Women are attracted to a man based on their Sun and Mars, and for Men, it's based on their Moon and Venus signs, though both men and women behave like their Venus sign. When it's said that for women they desire a man based on her sun and mars signs, does that mean the man must be in sync with those in his whole chart, or where and how exactly does the matching up occur? My Sun is Aquarius, and my Mars is Cancer. Does that mean I need a Cancer guy, or any guy with Venus in Cancer, or Mercury in Cancer? -sigh- Astrology is confusing.

Well Juno shows many things.
First of all Juno shows our reaction towards serious relationships. In what way we commit with others. For example Sun cancer needs a sable base in love afairs but having juno in gemmini will need lot of action in marriage with new challenges.
Secondly it shows white kind of spouse you need. Juno in cancer tells that you need someone with warm calm personality, caring and tender no matter what his original sign is!
My 7th house in pisces and my mars in scorpio shows that i need a water sign man. Well when i met my husband (scorpio actually) i was surprised to see that he had many saggitarious energy as my Juno in Saggitarious implies!! And the opposite I m virgo with a lot of libra energy and my husband has 7th in air and Juno in Libra!!!

As I understasnd Juno, it refers to an energy - like the qualities - which you require in your relationships for them to be sustained in the long term. Juno seems to specifically relate to long-term relationships.
For instance, I have Juno in Aries. My first 3-4 boyfriends in my life had Sun in Aries. The person I married has Moon in Aries (but he tended to misuse this, by being aggressive and manipulative) and so when young I looked for this energy - the energy of dynamism and endless creative ideas - in potential partners. I need this energy in another for me to maintain interest, and to keep my own energy levels up.
Having Juno in Cancer you perhaps will be comfortable with someone who embraces the energy of Cancer, as well as the ability to think in broad brush-strokes - that's the 11th house. Cancerian energy is gentle, caring, personal, sensitive and nurturing. You would be suited to someone who was sensitive enough to know that you need some time out, or a cuddle, or a written note or card. Someone who valued family would also suit.
For the conjunction with Mars, you may also need that dynamism that I describe in paragraph 2.
