Me: September 2, chicago, illinois at 10:49 a.m.
Our daughter (in case this is necessary) April 2, 2006 at 7:35 p.m.
Oops, I forgot to add a time. It's August 10 2006 at 4:20 p.m. in dallas, texas.
Thanks so much for your interest and assistance!

Alright, let's give it a try.
Sagittarius rises with the ASC at 17:43. I have to say that this is not a very good start since Sagittarius is not a very committed sign that likes to settle down. It's actually associated with freedom and instability of opinion. Pluto Rx in the 1st house is a malefic, retrograding to a wide conjunction with the ASC; another bad sign. Pars Forunae is in the 7th though. I'll keep that in mind.
We know that we will use the ruler of the ASC to signify. But to be honest I don't know which is fit to use to signify your partner, the 5th or the 7th. The 7th may seem more appropriate since you guys have a child together, but the 5th still describes the rockiness of the relationship. The fact that you have to ask that question shows that you are still not sure of the commitment. I guess I will still use the 7th to leave the 5th to rule the child that you have with him.
You are signified by Jupiter, your partner by Mercury and your child by Venus. The 11th house rules hopes and wishes. This hope/wish of yours is signified by Mars since the 11th cusp in Scorpio. This is fits us very well, because Mars also rules the4th house in this chart. The 4th house rules family, the subject of your hopes and wishes.
Your situation: Jupiter is at Scorpio 10:48 in the 11th house. This Jupiter accidental dignity by being in the house and is also descriptive of the horary since your significator is in the house of hopes and wishes. It is also direct, oriental and free from Sun's combustion and beams. It still has accidental debility by being in Via Combusta (the area between Libra 15 and Scorpio 15).
Jupiter has minor essential dignity by term. It is received by Mars by sign and triplicity. It's anti-received by Venus by detriment.
Jupiter is in affixed sign, showing reluctance to change.
Your partner's situation: Mercury is at Cancer 29:37 in the radix 8th (his own turned 2nd). Mercury has accidental debility in the radix chart by being in the 8tyh house, while enjoys accidental dignity by being in the turned 2nd. It is also direct, occidental and free from Sun's combustion and beams; which give it some more minor accidental dignity.
Mercury is essentially peregrine. It is received by Jupiter by exaltation and Mars by triplicity, but it is also anti-received by Mars by fall.
Mercury is VOC and about to change signs. It is on the same degree as Juno. Astrologers seem to disagree on Juno. Some treat it as a ruler of a partner while others say it signifies a mistress. Since it is a modern object and not forming any major aspect with any of the significators, I will ignore it. Maybe when there's finally a tangible result in your situation, Juno's placement can then be explained.
Mercury is in a cardinal sign and close its end, and about to end a fixed sign. This shows a quick change to a situation that will not change for a long time.
Your child's situation: Venus is at Cancer 27:37 in the 8th house. Like Mercury, it has Mercury has accidental debility in the radix chart by being in the 8tyh house, while enjoys accidental dignity by being in the turned 2nd from the 7th. In its own chart, it's in the turned 4th, having more accidental dignity than that given to it in the father's turned chart. It has some more accidental dignity by being direct, occidental and free from the Sun's combustion and beams.
Like Mercury, again, it is essentially peregrine. It is received by Jupiter by exaltation and Mars by triplicity, but it is also anti-received by Mars by fall.
Venus doesn't seem to behold any planets by major aspects and is not too far away from changing signs itself.
Venus is in a cardinal sign and close its end, and about to end a fixed sign. This shows a quick change to a situation that will not change for a long time.
Your wish's situation (the potential of forming a family with that man): Mars is a natural malefic, not a very good sign. It is at Virgo 11:58 in the radix 9th (turned 2nd from the 7th and turned 5th from the 5th).
It has minor accidental dignity by being in the 9th house and the turned 5th from 5th, but it has more accidental debility than dignity in the chart turned from the 7th by being cadent. It has accidental dignity by being occidental; but it is direct and free from the Sun's combustion and beams, which gives it some more accidental dignity.
It is received by Mercury by sign, exaltation and term. It is received by Venus by triplicity and face, yet anti-received by it by fall.
It is in mutual sign showing constant change.
Now, there is no beholding or translation or collection of light between any of the 4 significators. All we have is some reception and anti-reception. So we turn to the co-significator of the question; the Moon.
The Moon is received by Jupiter by sign and term, Venus by exaltation and Mars by triplicity. It is in the detriment and fall of Mercury and, thus, is anti-received by it.
The next lunar aspect is an opposition with Mars in the 9th house. The last lunar aspect in Pisces looks like a trine with mercury in the 8th house. However, Mercury will leave Cancer before the Moon perfects the trine. The last lunar aspect in this sign will actually be a trine with Venus in the 8th house
I dunno. The chart sure shows that in many ways, making a stable family is the best for all of you. However, your partner seems to disagree with you on the fact that a family is needed for the benefit of the child. While does having it in the back of his head to form a family with you, he seems to have reasons to believe that it is not the only or the best option.
The next and final lunar aspects show that your hope for making a family with this guy will not be fulfilled (opposition with Mars), but you'll end up with a good situation with your child (trine with Venus), probably with an agreement with your partner to share in supporting the child (aspect in 8th house).
I guess this is a no answer to your question.
