In When Harry Met Sally, Meg Ryan orders every element of her meal so very specifically, to have it just how she wants it – or she doesn’t want it at all. And her fake orgasm is so Virgo too!

I can say this, cause I am a Cappy.

The Manchurian Candidate 1962

Angela Landsbury version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RAUm6l_t6k) The link is pure Capricorn.

All the classic components: Politics, Murder, and CIA mind control.

A mother that sacrifices her own son in a mind control experiment and pushes him to run for the White House, killing anyone that gets in her way.(including girlfriend, senator, and the president) She is a player in a shadow world government and her son, her pawn.

A newer version with Myrel Streep came out in the '00s, but nothing good on youtube showing the character in action.

No offense, but Angela's the complete Capricorn-gone-astray in that picture. Ruthless, planning step by step, cold, bbrrrr.

Scorpios would have some emotion in regard to their child, extreme love or hate. Here, there was no human response towards the son at all, he was simply a tool of her driven ambition.

When Stifler ate the dog poop in American Pie 3, that was very Libran. He did it so the bride's parents wouldn't find out that he lost the wedding ring.

Wow, that's one way to look at maintaining harmony.

There is a scene in the movie Young Frankenstein that I am torn to decide if Madeline Kahn is more Leo or Virgo. The vanity speaks of Leo, but the keeping on top of the details very Virgo. The character reminds me of both my Leo daughter and my Virgo best friend.... well they both have lots of Libra too

The scene is when Madeline Kahn is saying goodbye to Gene Wilder at the train station and she is more concerned not to mess up her hair or makeup since there is a party afterward. ...Taffeta Darling... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pwj0Ir3sYSI)

In the movie Secret Life of Bees with Dakota Fanning, there is this one sister who had a twinsister that died. She is so very emotional and empathic, she feels with everybody. She is the incarnation of Pisces-energy for me!
Her other sister explains: When her twinsister died it was like the whole world became her twin. (She feel the sorrow of the whole world).

Analyze this = Analyze that - Scorpio - it is funny and twisted
Pirates of the Carribean = very Scorpionic/Aries as well .. I dont think pisces and cancer could think of doing what Jack was pulling off
Ice age = very cancery = family values
The addams family = pure Scorpio
MASH series = very virgo
Robin Hood = Aries
Titanic = Piscean! ohh maan only a piscean can make the other 11 signs cry about a guy drowning in icy waters
Avatar = Aquarius .. it is out there!

May Boatwright is the name of the character I was thinking about from the movie Secret Life of Bees. :)

I agree that Titanic is pisces. James Cameron (the director) also has moon in pisces!

Michael in When a Man Loves a Woman is the epitome of a Pisces man. I love it when Alice blows up after rehab about how he almost enjoys having to save/rehabilitate her. Sooo sick, so true. Especially laughed at the way he handled the kids, just brushed it under the carpet, and thought nothing of it. Great movie, good intentioned Pisces man.

^that was andy garcia and meg ryan right? meg played an alcoholic IIRC and andy the husband. i switched to vodka after watching that movie lol just kidding! i do like those types of movies more than blockbusters. i would've thought though meg would've been the pisces andy a cancer.

I would've came to the same conclusion but Meg seemed so independent even though she internalizes most of her problems. However I agree that Andy could be the cancer because he is such a caretaker and because he created the material security for the family.

it is not that i dont like pisces and cancers, i just steer clear of Pisces and Cancer - men particulary.. pisces women that is one big - stay away sign.. TOO empathetic and too sensitve.. Bad moods internally ignited... Pisces dont see the obvious if it is in front of them *at least from what i have seen in others* Cancers are WAYYY too emotionally cranky esp during full and new moons. I learned to deal with Cancer women but Pisces women - hell no .. besides, I cannot handle emotional / sensitive people, period.

My friend is a Pisces, ex husband a cancer - I had a situation where the Pisces sensitivity and empathy worked in my favor. The gratitude I have for her in my life during a difficult time couldn't be put in writing!

But I can understand how some with the drastic traits could be over bearing!

i cannot deal with sensitive and emotional people at all.. for me, if there is a problem, I do not want to hear "boo hoo poor you.. so how do you feel about it" pure Neptunian speech.. i get as mildly as i can describe annoyed but you can plug much harsher words to this. To me, if i see no solution, i rather hear "Hey this a problem, here is the solution. one way dealing with this. Lets figure out how to solve this".. the only 2 living things i have great care for are animals and children, they are silent victims.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K05G48KHsC4 this is how my interaction with Pisces and Cancers goes.. EXACTLY like that.

How about the bit in the Hanibal prequel where he is just about to kill one of the men who killed his little sister to eat her, and the man he is going to kill says, 'But you ate her too' and all Hanibal's cannibalism falls into place in a spine-chilling way.

I don't suppose I need to name the sign, here.

This is serious bull. Do you know how many threads on here I've found people Pisces-bashing? Just serach, I've marched right in more than half of them and addressed the BULL. A great deal of it was just irrational snobbery. I've actually seen people set up threads with I've Mercury in Virgo I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO much more rational and intelligent than everyone else. Sure.

As usual. For anyone actually interested in LEARNING about something they don't know, you would have to drop prejudices, pretences, holier-than-thou attitudes and open your arms and mind. If anyone is interested in a REAL look at Mercury in Pisces, take a look here, it's the most interesting reference I've found on it.

Mercury in Pisces Mindfire (http://www.mindfire.ca/The%20Planets%20Through%20the%20Signs/Mercury%20Though%20the%20Signs/Mercury%20in%20Pisces.htm)

And as for the water-haters, I'd like to take out all the water signs from the hospitals, therapists, etc. and see who'll fix your body, see who'll listen to your broken heart, marriage or life. You're fooling yourself if you think you'll never need that. Fill them with an abundance of fire and see what happens.

Film: The Last Airbender. The last waterbender in the southern water tribe is soooooooo Cancer-ish - the best kind!

Tomb Raider: Aries/Sagg

Oh please, I'm not hating on the water element. In fact is maybe my favorite. Myself, I have lots of water...

I was talking only for that specific trait of Pisces. (Sorry for being objective :D )

and seriously, if I didn't alienate people by the slightly explosive post previous, do check out that Mercury in Pisces link...it is...unlike...most of the generic, negative stuff usually associated with it...it's quite deep too, so put your goggles on...:whistling:

...Don't take it personally; that's just the current trend. Astrologers as a group have been belly-aching about Neptune and Pisces for awhile now. Even a friend of mine that I introduced to astrology, surfed a couple boards for the first time a year or two ago and immediately noticed how anti-Pisces astrologers seem to be. Eventually though that'll finally burn off and people will go back to bashing Scorpios and Leos again.

Well done Byjove. its a form of cyber bullying pick on potentially what appears to be the weakest sign.

Its not though.

I always want do divein and save a pisces though! mercury in pisces debate was awesome.

I have huge amount of pisces in my chart (merc/moon, venus, chiron/saturn)

although a scorpio rising never defend the crazy stuff said about them cos I know peeps are secretly terrified of anything scorpio!

as for leo banter - its always funny and leo's are too busy 'performing' to mind.

Pisceans can be totally awesome. Anyone with any sign can be totally awesome. It depends on what they get and how they use it, mostly how they use it. I do admit I have a little harder time praising Cancer and Virgo in general, but that doesn't mean the people don't have the potential to be totally awesome, just that I haven't seen it in my limited experience of not knowing everyone's horoscope.

How about we make a Pisces Appreciation Group? I'll do it if someone else (maybe even a Piscean, because they are usually very artistic) provides an image for it. I wouldn't make a Water Sign Appreciation Group because that includes Scorpio (which are plenty cool, but don't need an extra appreciation group currently) and I think there are already groups like that for Cancer.

Piscean quality is very undervalued in our western society too but maybe that will change. :innocent:

I was going to post the following;

Rambo - Aries - mindless violence - why - cos I wont too - (the state of our current society)

guess that will upset a few people. oops :ninja:

There is one already and another I -think- there are groups for many different signs and combos there.

I feel like Libra movies are anything with a good love story or are just plain fun to watch like Dirty Dancing (Nobody puts Baby in a corner), The Notebook (when Allie forgot who Noah was, I died a little inside- that's a bit Scorpio-like too), Clueless (Cher's persona in general is hilarious), etc. I've never really thought about this, does anyone has any other suggestions? Because chick flicks are so obvious for Libra's lol.

CHER IS SO LIBRA in Clueless. That makes me kind of sad - Brittany Murphy was in there. So beautiful. I'm going to look up her sign now.

Another movie: Black Swan. I'd have to say Capricorn or Virgo.... and Scorpio (Vincent Cassel). The perfectionism Nina is obsessed with has got to be Capricorn - but twisted with leo moon maybe???? Help me out with this one. I love the movie.
