I had the idea that there might be some merit to making a permanent place on this forum where people could list "extra" books they had, and would be willing to send on to someone else on the forum who was really in need?
I know that I have many, many books - some I use as reference, and some I really don't look at anymore. Usually it's because they were beginner level, and I've moved past. Personally, most of my books are not astrology, but still covered in the categories on this forum.(Spirituality).
How about the rest of you? Books laying around gathering dust that someone else could use?
I actually thought of this idea because of another forum. I had a diabetic pet at one time, and was a member of a forum for diabetic pets. They had a section similar to what I'm describing where members could post "extra" supplies - needles, syringes, special food, etc. Many of the members used this and it worked very well. Postage was left open, as to the discretion of the sender/sendee. They worked it out amongst themselves, usually according to their ability to pay.
So..... what do y'all think?
