Hi

I have progressed Jupiter transiting Pisces in my natal 1st house. It went over my ascendent in about 1998. As you see from my progressed chart my prog sun has just gone into Pisces.

I have recently been feeling really disconnected and dispairing and I am also feeling a bit porous. Not sure what feelings are mine and what I am picking up on the collective.

Went to see the 'Passion of Joan of Arc' last week. Which I found intensely moving. My partner said that Bernadette Brady talked about her progressed chart as it related to the events in her life.

I would like to know what this might mean besides putting on weight!? I have recently got back into swimming. Is there a way of using this energy creatively and constructively, I am a Cap after all. Or I am just destined to dissolve? Aren't we all though!:crying:

Welcome to AW,

Firstly, I don't read prog charts as stand alone, it's more usual to do a natal and have progressions and transits outside. This shows us where the Angles and planets have progressed to and how you have grown and evolved as a person. This way we can see if/when an Angle allows a natal planet a chance to shine by coming to the Asc or MC

So you spent the first 17years as Cappi, next 30 as Aquarian and next 30 as pisces ---

Your natal chart is like a photograph as unique as your fingerprint, BUT the 10planets in the sky have not stayed where they were in your natal chart, they have all moved. Predictive astrology is mostly maths where those 10planets are now and the mathematical aspects they make to your natal charts ie: 180'=opposition, 90'=square, 60'=sextile and 120'=trine.

So your personality, grows, develops, changes, matures as we get older, this is reflected by your sun sign changing from it's natal position to the next sign along, so does your Asc and MC sign change. In fact from sun to mars especially are important, as the outer planets really don't move much, using a 'day for a year' secondary progressions.

The most important of progressed planets is of course, sun & moon and then upto mars, as the outer planets hardly move by progression. Now like with transits, solar arcs --- it's what these progressed planets are doing NOW by mathematical aspect to your natal planets and Angles that is ultimately important.

So, for last two years, do you feel that you have become more caring? do you find people now bring their problems to you, looking for tea and sympathy?

Your prog moon is now 26' in Cappi so another 4months and this will change into Aquarius
There is a 'plethora' of information on AW, espec in the 'stickys' at the top of every forum, our Education forum and Recommendations forum to. Plus we have a good search feature, bit like google using keywords --
