View Full Version : Two threatening stelliums?

Hello. =) I happened across the forum randomly while on a hunt for information about stelliums, and I figured, why not give it a shot here?
I recently learned about stelliums, and knowing that most of my chart seems to gravitate towards the left, I figured I should take a closer look at it. Indeed I found, potentially, what may be two stelliums. I have but a small grasp on reading natal charts, so bear with me...
The first is in my first house (Sagittarius), and includes the moon (Capricorn), Neptune (Sagittarius/Capricorn cusp) and Uranus (Sagittarius). The second appears in my twelfth house (Scorpio). This consists of Saturn, Pluto and Mercury, all in Scorpio.
Is it just me, or does this seem somehow threatening? Since I know nothing about it, it appears intimidating (I find Scorpio intimidating all by itself :crying:). =) If anyone would find it in their hearts and knowledge to clarify this for me and what it implications it may have, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. =) Keep in mind, I'm a novice...

Hi Bluelotus,
Welcome, you're new. :)
You should upload your chart that way people can see what you're curious about a bit clearer.
Here is a thread describing how to upload a chart:

:w00t: Thank you. I didn't realize it could be that easy. =)
Here is a copy of my chart. Again, any inferences would be very helpful.

technically you don't have any stelliums at all, the planets have to minimum 3 all conjunct and in same sign, yours are too widely apart.
You do have a 'bowl chart' though. Transiting Saturn will shortly conjunct your natal venus and this could herald the end of a friendship, keep you short of money and more than likely wish to withdraw for a while.
Your Uranus is also a singleton ie: only planet in fire, which your chart lacks this element.
Singleton planets
“If a planet happens to be the only one in an element, quality, or house type, that planet is a Singleton and it can funnel all of the “energy” of the horoscope. This planet is often the most important one in the horoscope. In other words, if you just interpret the position of this one planet by sign, house, and aspect, you will get to the “heart of the horoscope”. The effect is the same as if that planet were the only one on one side of the chart.”

(There is a book out by Shirley Lyons Meier, "Elemental Voids, More than Meets the Eye", which gives a good discussion of missing elements.) The Inferior Function can be a source of great motivation and creative expression.

Thank you... that's given me a lot to think about. Since I've read your answer, I've put in some research into singletons and bowl charts. It gives me a lot to think about... however, I'd hate to think that my entire personality was led by my Uranus singleton. =) But isn't that the Uranus way... to be different? Haha... I think now, I'm more confused than ever. =) At this rate, I'll be hunting for a decent astrologer... so many things to learn!

HI Bluelotus,
As Astrologer50 pointed out, you do not have two stelliums, and even if you did, your character and manner of posting indicates that they'd anything but threatening.
As Astrologer50 also pointed out, you have a singleton. Singletons are sort of like a "hot button," and in this case, since yours in fire, it's pretty hot.
Uranus first of all, in the first house, denotes an erratic personality, one who is both goofy and serious, pretty much an eccentric type who is unpredictable. Sometimes people get the sense that you show up like a "bolt out of the blue," or something about you is a shock, suprise, or unexpected.
Being your singleton planet, you probably feel pretty compelled to act on this quality, or that this eccentric, surprising part of who you are, and people might describe this rather surprising, erratic quality as threatening. The thing with Uranus is its pretty indifferent and free from those restrictions.
Especially with it being in Sagittarius, people are probably pretty frightened or threatened (if they are at all) but your surprising attitude and philosophy towards your body (first house) and how to meet your physical needs.
Uranus is a powerful planet, it might make sense to research all of what Uranus, Sagittarius, Aquarius, Aries, and the first house can mean.
