There is a whole list of progressive techniques, to name but a few secondary progressions, solar arc, transits, primary directions that are used in the natal chart, for correction purposes and predictive.
I have always favoured primary directions (also converse for both predictive and correctional purposes, and another direction technique I use is the -1 system whereby all progressions are -1 year. The timing of all three techniques has more feel to it, than transits or returns.
This is personal of course, however I attempt under all circumstances to limit myself to these three techniques. The 4 minutes for a year, seems to me the essential method, taking the birth time into consideration. That is to say we shouldn't take too wide a orb when correcting birth charts, and then is the 4 minute per year en excellent technique.
Which technique has your favour, when dealing with the chart for correctional or predictive purposes? And what precentage would you give it for correct results in both predictive and corrections?
