Can anyone tell me what it means when the north node is conjunct pluto in a tertiary progression chart? They are in my second house. It's not a good thing is it?

I have had this conj my pluto and 7th and was hoping for something, but I have found it negliable in bringing anything tangible. I suppose you were expected a boost to your earning power or pay rise?

Also you prob would get more responses if you posted your chart, as most of us here are visual

Thank you for your reply astrologer50,
I'm sorry I didn't post anything I didn't even think about it.:eek::smile:
It's kind of funny wierd I read on an astrology website that the north node conjunct Pluto could mean death of some type. I don't remember the name of the website now,but it's been used by others at astrologers community. I have to say that it spooked me a little bit,but being in the second house I guess it wouldn't do anything would it?
To answer your question about expecting money, I actually expected financial loss, but on a personal level, I seem to be gaining money as I need it, or unexpectedly. For example, yesterday I recieved a check in the mail from financial aid at my college and I hadn't expected to recieve another check at all. We had almost nothing financially at that point. Things like that have been happening.A little bit here,a little bit there. My job is being a college student, so I guess the financial aid money might be related to other peoples money(P Pluto). ??? Maybe it has to do with P Uranus being conjunct my N Sun or my P Mars being(it looks like to me) conjunct my N 2nd house. But, no, nothing really tangible. Maybe it takes time.
I'll post what my tertiary progressions for this month May 22-June 18 if you would to see.

well either you or me are looking at different charts. Pluto is in 4th NOT 2nd and I can't see the degrees on prog sun or natal uranus cos it's to cluttered with asteriods. I can't understand why it's so small, did you reduce to 63%, right click on image and 'save target pic as' to hard drive then upload....

I can't imagine prog uranus hardly moves and sun looks sooooo far away from natal uranus

 Hmmmm, weeeeell, I posted a new chart that should be bigger. Do you want me to post my progressions with just the progressions and not the natal chart with it?

It's just the same -- sorry. go back to astro. take off all the asteriods and save again to hard drive or use a free hosting site like imageshack. I can't read the aspect grid it's to small. I don't use a stand alone progressed chart, it's much better to post the natal and progressed outside like you have done...

that's great, thanks. Now I thought as much, prog uranus is only 16' and natal sun is 24' so that's a long way off yet and I doubt whether it will ever get there. As I said earlier the 'outers' by progression hardly ever move much...

going back to prog Node it's now 6'56" in 4th and prob will never get to Pluto

your stellium in scorpio has now progressed in Aquarius and 8th house (Equal house) What is noticeable is prog Jupiter 26' approaching your Ascendent  and this should herald some luck and good fortune...

progressed charts are more 'internal' changes, evolvements rather than 'events or external' matters. I don't read prog charts as stand alones it's more important to see where these planets are moving in the natal chart

Your natal chart is like a photograph as unique as your fingerprint, BUT the 10planets in the sky have not stayed where they were in your natal chart, they have all moved. Predictive astrology is mostly maths where those 10planets are now and the mathematical aspects they make to your natal charts ie: 180'=opposition, 90'=square, 60'=sextile and 120'=trine.

So your personality, grows, develops, changes, matures as we get older, this is reflected by your sun sign changing from it's natal position to the next sign along, so does your Asc and MC sign change. In fact from sun to mars especially are important, as the outer planets really don't move much, using a 'day for a year' secondary progressions.

If you want to research more into Secondary progressions try here

The most important of progressed planets is of course, sun & moon and then upto mars, as the outer planets hardly move by progression. Now like with transits, solar arcs --- it's what these progressed planets are doing NOW by mathematical aspect to your natal planets and Angles that is ultimately important.

Also I would take this opportunity to mention there is a ‘plethora’ of information in every forum top, called 'stickys' which cover, explain in great depth what each forum is all about, plus we have an Education forum for further research..
