I would love to see a catagory added in the horary section. I am not sure what it would be called or if it already exists and I haven't found it.

I think there needs to be a place where links to threads in the horary section, of events have been completed and updated on outcome. For example, if I read a chart and conclude that Mr X will marry someone by the end of the year. At the end of the year (or when the event occurs) the post is updated with the outcome. If Mr X does not marry, it will allow me to check where I made the error.

Would it be possible to make a copy of the thread and move it to such an area, allowing multiple examples to be studied?

This would be great. For now, there's only a collection of Horary Astrology Test Threads (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2588) which have been discussed on the forums.

But should time allow it, work should done on the forums in order to gather the most interesting horary questions, with known outcome. Thanks for suggesting!

Rahu,
It's a great webgroup that you have. Lots of positive interaction and responses. The only problem I have with this website is there is way to many categories. I find that I can't remember where someone posted a thread I was interested in.

Have you seen the Bob Marks forum? I find that is much more user friendly and easier access to people's thread.

All in all, I enjoy being a part of this webgroup! Thanks, Joanne

I agree. Great site! I also have the same problem locating things. It's not easy to tell when someone has responded if the thread you're looking for is not highlighted. It's easy to remember whether something was in Predictive Astrology versus Karmic Astrology or Horary Astrology, but then the hunt is on after that. Was it a Relationship Horary or a Lost Person Horary? If you have more than a few threads you're interested in, it gets very complicated, can spend some serious time hunting around.

Thanks for listening,
AqMoon

Glad you like it. I'd suggest going in your User CP (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/usercp.php) > Edit Options (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/profile.php?do=editoptions) to "Default Thread Subscription Mode" and selecting there "Instant Email Notification" so that you receive an email each time someone replies to a thread you have posted on and you are subscribed to. I do this and find it very convenient.

Besides:
When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/subscription.php), with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread. You may find all subscribed threads in the User Control Panel (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/usercp.php) (User CP). This way you'll never have to hunt for threads you replied to anymore.

I enjoy this webgroup, lots of interesting interaction. There are just so many threads and new posts that you have to think and work fast!!! I shouldn't complain, my Gemini Moon (who just loves to complain) really enjoys it as you will too (horray for Sag moon's!).

Thanks Radu and Aquarius moon for your openness. tb

Hey Tebbybull,

Yea, I am here. Seems this place is very good.

LOL, Gemini moon, guess what I just read, this is too sync

How to treat yourSAGITTARIUS
November 22 - December 21
f

for Sagittarius Sun, Moon or Rising people or...strong Jupiter or 9th House

Your happy Sag is a straight shooter, a wise one, a seer who is always ready and able to offer up plans and ideas. She knows how to find the answers, and doesn't hesitate to do so. A natural fortune-teller, she has an innate sense of the future. You can tap into her foreshadowing ability and get helpful hints about how to proceed in life. And she is always honest - even if it is overstated a bit!
Your jovial Sagi is almost always a happy camper. He sees the world through lovely rose colored glasses. He barely recognizes unhappiness. Your Sagi is a wonderful companion because his joy for life is so lofty and grand that it is truly contagious.
While all this is a tremendous advantage, you may come to find that sometimes your Sagi is a lonely, sad clown. The problem is - he may have difficulty knowing whether or not he is truly happy inside! The jollity of your Sagi is usually completely genuine, but he may sometimes feel embarrassed to say if he is actually depressed.
It's not that your Sagi is hiding her feelings, it's just that she is always looking forward to something better. Her glowing vision for the future overshadows the present - no matter how gloomy. If you want to make Sagi truly happy, you must be able to see through the glowing exterior into the real, sensitive person inside. Try to see any unhappiness, and help your Sagi recognize and do something about it!
So, assuming your Sagi is not a sad, lonely clown, how do you make him happy when he already appears to be just fine and dandy? How can you create an impact in such a person's life? How can make your Sagi - who always has something to look forward to - look forward to being with YOU?
Well, the answer is very simple. All he needs is appreciation, gratitude and a healthy dose of freedom. Listen to him spout philosophy. Praise him for his insights into the future. Allow her to travel endlessly, read, absorb knowledge and make more of her mind. Ignore the tripping over words and objects! Really - she is merely blinded by her mental far-sightedness!! Laugh with sincerity - never with derision. Have fun with her. Make him the object of your admiration.
Think of your Sagi as a good luck charm, a shaman, a seer and a jester. Keep her wisdom in your pocket like a talisman, and wear his heart on your sleeve - but never restrict your Sagi's freedom. Take all of the above into serious consideration (don't laugh!), and you will be rewarded with a very wise and fortunate companion in the grand adventure of life, an energetic, enthusiastic lover and a fun-loving, true-hearted friend.

Gemini moons love to learn. Now to find Gemini moon, the eternal student, or Gemini sun for Aquarious Moon. She has Sag ascendant. Gemini's are butterflies to me, bright colorful butteflies, going from person to person linking knowledge and people.
:59: :)
Horray, I would have been here a long time ago, If I had know both you guys here.

Here for the Gemini

May 21 - June 21
The Gemini is bright and aware. Like speedy Mercury, he seems to know exactly what is going on and where things are at all times. He enjoys helping others, and takes pride in his many abilities. Like a magician, he can juggle multiple tasks with ease, and is known for his skill and dexterity. He may be a writer, humorist, politician, handyperson, electrician, teacher, reporter or office worker. Gemini is practical, yet flighty. He needs movement, communication and travel lest he become bored.
The Gemini is a kind of dual soul. He can possess two opposing thoughts simultaneously, and reconcile them perfectly in his mind. He often voices different ideas and opinions and seems to be changing his mind, but in reality he is merely sharing his musings and decision making processes. To the ever positive thinking Gemini, every option has its advantage, and choices can take time.
Gemini has the unique ability to see both sides of any situation, and this makes him an excellent mediator or debater. He has a great understanding and appreciation for human nature. He loves people and values friendship, and so may actually go in two or more directions at once in order to satisfy everyone. If anyone can pull it off, it's Gemini. He is a natural politician.
In love, the Gemini's partner must be able to keep him entertained. He needs conversation, fun, changes and mental stimulation. He can be counted on to be clever, insightful, funny, witty and always a helpful friend.

MOON in GEMINI (also Moon in third house)
The Moon in Gemini man nurtures his mate with friendship, witty exchanges and playful excursions. He needs people in his life who will appreciate him for his sense of humor and his many skills. He likes to talk, think or write about his feelings. He would rather rationalize and reason his way through emotions than allow himself to feel them, so he needs a compassionate buddy to help him work through difficult times. Friends, siblings and his local community are very important to him.
GEMINI RISING (also Mercury rising)
Gemini Rising feels friendship all around him. He sees the world as a place where we may express ourselves, have fun and make friends. His first reaction to someone new is a handshake, a warm smile, a hug or a witty remark. Gemini Rising values communication, awareness, cooperation and social graces. The whole world is his family.
Gemini rising is here to cheer and encourage others.

Hi again, Sage, and welcome. Just saw this post.

Am now using the Subscription feature. I didn't realize how easy this makes the navigation.

My 2 cents...

Is there an automatic system in place that lets current members know if a thread / post has gone unanswered (e.g. via email) after a certain amount of time?

For example, if someone introduces themselves, they may or may not get a reply.

I just think it would be nice if they got a response. That way they might feel more welcome / more inclined to post.

That'd be good to see on this web site (i.e. ultimately no unanswered posts).

Thanks for listening :)

PS: Compared to some other forums I've seen, this is still a good one :)

I think it is a good idea to let forum members know if a certain thread has gone unanswered so that the community's attention may be drawn to these posts; however, I do not believe that any member should be forced to answer questions or delineate charts unless this is what they truly desire. Replying should not be a chore ;)

Sure, but not automatic. Go to 'Search', then choose 'Advanced Search' enter a keyword at choose the option "Find Threads with" at most 0 posts. You may also select the board.
So then you have some spare time, go reply so some still unanswered posts. Very nice of you!

Nah, let's force them to answer questions! :)

Ha, ha! Imagine some of the answers / interpretations that would create!

Oh well... Thanks for the "manual" way of doing it :)
